I bought a Betty Jackson Black short dress/tunic with long sleeves in shades of black, purple & lime green - big statement flowers - for £4.95. Will be great with thick tights and boots.
And a Wallis summer dress in navy, lime and teal. It has thickish straps rather than shoe-string and a cross-over bodice. £3.500 -
Two per una sweaters, same style but one fuchsia pink, one jade green, for £2 each but the sa let me have the two for £3. Just right as I need new sweaters this winter.0

Success at last! (Although not strictly a chazza purchase...yet).
I have finally persuaded my sister to visit the local chaz for baby clothes, I see really good quality stuff there all the time and am sorely tempted to buy but until now knew it would be rejected. (Strangely she helps herself to my chazzer purchases that fit her, just not good enough for the LO). This after seeing all the stuff she wanted to buy from Next when it's knocked down to 1/2 price tomorrow, still far to expensive for the use she will get from it.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

People are funny aren't they?I have a friend who will not buy books from a charity shop cos she thinks they might have 'germs'! She will happily borrow books from the library though!!

I've been so happy with my charity shop bargains this week, I think I've sorted out my winter wardrobe. I spent £25 and got 4 lovely Laura Ashley and M&S long sleeve tops, a topshop cardigan and jumper, a cashmere cardigan, new jeans and a warm wool Austin reed coat. They'll go well with last weeks find: brand new clarks shoes which are so comfy. Just need some decent winter boots now and I'm all set. (I also brought a huge old picnic blanket for 50p in preparation for next summer)0

I am absolutely made up to have bought a £1 le creuset cast iron casserole dish and lid! It's not huge (big enough for two and a half by far!)a bit scratched and the knob is warped from being in the oven. Still - WAHOO!0
