  • Rather lovely M&S owl print top purchased for me today for a very reasonable £2.50, and a lovely Next rugby shirt for my youngest for 50p. He has just started nursery so this will be perfect for that.

I resisted two pairs of velvet Boden trousers in my size, even though they were only £3 a pair. I just don't think I'm a velvet trouser person, but I was tempted!

Today I bought a Tupperware rice cooker for £1.50, several little dresses about 75p - £1 each, a sweet Laura Ashley handbag (£2) which had lipstick stains inside and got them out (!) and a wicker carrier bag ( £2) My friend got two throws( Primark) for £1- great for the car for the dogs. Also a Pumpkin patch jumper for £1 too. This particular cs is very reasonably priced which helps enormously.
  • On Tuesday I found a gorgeous LK Bennett handbag in a lovely mid blue croc -style leather, in new condition - £30!!!!!!
It is immaculate with the pink and cream rose print lining.
I also got a beautiful midi length Boden skirt in cornflower blue needlecord for £4.95
My favourite Charity Shop - but I'm not letting on where it is!!!

PDSA shop had a box of £1 shoes just inside the door today. Had a rootle through (mostly ridiculously high heels and tatty slippers) and spotted a single M&S Footglove black flattie in my size. It had a blob of something a bit yukky-looking inside it, which must have put people off, but I gingerly touched it and sniffed - it was shoe polish!

Turfed half the box out to find the matching shoe, and to my delight it had a M&S £35 price sticker on the bottom, still clean so obviously the shoes hadn't even been worn. What a bargain! :j

Makes you wonder why people don't take things back to M&S for a refund if they change their mind. Unless they'd had them for ages but never got around to wearing them.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

I got a lovely burgundy suede Antoni & Alison handbag for a fiver today. No tags, but I'm pretty sure it's never been used.

I could not believe this but it actually happened. I had seen a grey duffle coat on the net, just what I wanted, but out of stock. There it was in my size in Cancer Research for £8 instead of the £45 I was prepared to pay, and obviously unworn. Result!

    A game for dgs3's Nintendo Game - Pokemon Pearl - £1.

It's the only thing I've bought in the CS this week, so HAS to qualify as my 'bargain of the week' :j.

It's probably not the bargain of the century, but it made me happy....I have just knitted DD a cushion cover and wanted a pad or some stuffing to go inside it.
I found the perfect sized cushion for just £1. I've washed it and will be returning the cushion cover to the CS to sell again (unless I can make something out of it, but can't think what right now).
PAYDBX 2016 #55 100% paid! :j Officially bad debt free...don't count my mortgage.
Now to start saving...it's a whole new world!!
