What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

Not a cs buy but a gorgeous Monsoon silk dress which my mum's neighbour had worn once for the races and never worn again. I had admired it when she wore it and she had remembered and donated it to me when she was having a clear out. One very happy bunny here.0

I got probably one of my best bargains at the weekend. A clearance charity shop has opened in a town near me. I found a whole Arcopal coffee set (six cups, saucers and coffee pot) for £3.75! My sister loves Arcopal so I'm saving it for her birthday present.'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain'0

Popped in to CS on way back from OH's hospital appointment and found a lovely brown real leather handbag from Dune for £6.99.
It's in excellent condition and looks a bit like a Mulberry bag so I can now stop lusting after them as the one I really want is £950!!0 -
I was on a 'half-day shift' at the CS this afternoon - came home with a new fish-slice (broke mine on Saturday trying to flip a fried egg
); it's matching serving spoon; a pair of ladies green wellies size 9 - a rare thing where my feet are concerned - :T; a book that looks good; a small pink leather 'Antler Vanity Bag'; a 'gizmo' for joining cable/aerial wires at the back of the TV.
The 'real bargain' in all these was the desperately needed 'quality' fish slice for 50p :j.0 -

Be careful! I once cracked a glass trifle dish by pouring boiling water in it to melt the jelly cubes. Always use a pyrex jug now, leave it to cool a bit and then pour it in the glass dish.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
