I was in my pet CS and was handed a bagful of Lego
on Thursday; I was asked to "have a look through" it. There was a lot of early noughties basketball stuff, plus some early Star Wars and other bits, but research indicated that ebaying it wouldn't really be worth it.
I bagged it up into several lots and recommended they be priced at £2- £8.
They all sold on Friday and Saturday, netting the pet CS around £20. (They'd never have got that for the original bagful, and there were a few bits to add to [STRIKE]my[/STRIKE] the children's castle Lego sets which I was given for my troubles. The manager said that my face lit up when she opened the bag! I had a happy Friday morning researching the sets and bagging it all up; they got a load of money and we got a few new bits.)They call me Dr Worm... I bought a new top in my favourite charity shop for £3 yesterday. Knew nothing about the label (familiar-sounding, but didn't know any more than that), so I wore it out to dinner and splashed a bit of noodle soup down the front.
It's by Joseph and I discovered just now that it's about £125 new :eek: I hope the soup comes out in the washSaving for deposit: Finished! :j
House buying: Finished!
Next task: Lots and lots of DIY0 -

Put a metal spoon in the bowl before you add the boiling water and stir the jelly with it.
The metal spoon absorbs the heat.0 -
