this was the other week but I got an interview outfit - black Next high waisted trousers (looked almost new) black Bon Marche jacket (obviously been worn but still smart and clean, goes nicely with trousers) and blue and white BHS 'jumper shirt' (you can only see the shirt part over the jacket collar though) all from the Barnardo's £1.99 shop in Leicester :)

I lost a pair of M&S leather gloves over Xmas and didn't want to pay £17+ again so went out looking for replacements at the chazzer shops. Today, I found a lovely pair of brand new brown pigskin (and some sort of fabric on the back) gloves for £3.50. Happy camper now!

For my mum, I got some lovely new, sheepskin slippers with hard soles for £2 and a really nice esprit t/shirt for £2.50.

For myself, I got a gorgeous old, enameled, bread-bin with lid. You know the type - white, rectanglar, stands about 45cms high with navy 'piping' and BREAD on the front - £2.00!! Am so pleased - got it for my birdseed.

And for 50p, I bought my youngest daughter a condensed book of A for Alibi, B for whatever (Burglar?) & C for Corpse (or is it Crime?) by Sue Grafton - I started reading this series ages ago but passed on the books to a CS - now daughter has discovered the later ones and enjoys them so I was pleased to find this one.
  • This was last week but got a pair of cream new George wedge espadrilles for £1 and an autograph silk look blouse for a £1! Bargain!!!! :T:T:T:T:T
