Jeans that I was bit worried might a size too small for me (look brand new) - £2
They had a BOGOF on in store but there was nothing else I wanted or needed so I nearly didn't bother.
Also having lost weight I wasn't sure if they'd fit (yet) or still be a tad too small & this particular shop doesn't have a changing room.
Decided to risk it as I need new jeans (all mine at home are too big), glad I did as they are fab!A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
I did pretty well last week- Diesel jeans for £2.50 and a pretty tunic top/dress from Principles for £1
. (Then I accidentally spent £16 on a 1960s crimplene neon pink shift dress and jacket!
)
I followed up those successes yesterday by buying a pair of Ted Baker tweed trousers for £10- these are as new, half lined and fit beautifully. They would appear to be well over £100 new so I am extremely pleased with those. In the next shop along I got a lovely Mooks (skater brand) wrap skirt for £4 and a very warm Oasis cowl neck jumper for a fiver. I wore these last two today and was complimented, not just on the clothes but on my charity- shopping prowess:D
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0 -
Found some lovely cream/oatmeal linen Per Una trousers at £3.25 this morning. Also got a pair of Thinsulate gloves (Norwegian snowflake design) at the hospice shop for £2.50.0

I Got a Jayne Norman Summer dress, ideal for my New year holiday in the Canaries, for £1.79 also a long jumper dress for £1.79 not sure what make, from The Salvation Army charity shop, i love getting things from that shop as always priced cheap.
Also got 2 long lenght cardigans, both in excellent look like new condition, from British Heart Foundation, one was from Newlook £4.99, and the other George £5.25, seemed a bit expensive after my other bargains, but still much cheaper than buying them new.0 -
Three cardigans and a hoodie for the little man, great for layering him up. Plus a vintage sweater (gold lamè!) and a pair of Fat Face slippers for meRecovering Shopaholic

I bought a Boden, navy jersey dress for £5. Could have been cheaper but I've had loads of bargains from this shop so not complaining.
Trouble was I was there to take in a bag of stuff!:rotfl:0 -
Is anyone else a bit 'schizophrenic' with their CS clothing purchases?
I was looking at myself in the mirror this morning and was wearing a brand new cashmere cardi from White Company (over £100, a present from OH) and a full price shirt from Boden (£29 from memory), a pair of Moshulu shoes (£79) but all teamed with a pair of trousers from the hospice shop for a fiver.
I've also bought online today a yellow pure silk scarf (£37) to wear with a yellow lambswool pullover (£3.25 at BHF). Does anyone else do this???0
