Haha - I was married in the '60's & had a load of this as wedding presents!! All I've got left is one small casserole dish but I think the pattern is lovely & still relevant today. Happy collecting HBFSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Spent £2 at Age UK today, everything is still a £1
- was lucky and picked up a lovely pair of smart M&S trousers in like-new condition which will be good for work.. . . . . . . and although its the totally wrong time of year to be buying one.... a fab 100% cream linen Per Una summer jacket with leopard print trim to the inside

Today I picked up a pair of immaculate black Uggs, c/w box (that was stashed in the back) for £14.99
I alos found a River Island cable kit dress, a fair-isle scarf and a handful of books for £12.50 - quite a haul!0 -
Went out today with a view to treating myself to a cut and blow dry and having my nails done. As it happens, I didn't get that far and ended up buying some clothes for my trip to Scotland at the end of this week.
I bought:
A pair of Monsoon brown cord trousers - like new - £2.50
A brand new Per Una striped jumper with lovely buttons on cuff-£3.25
A brand new BHS jumper with labels - £5
An Olsen striped cardigan, almost new, £5.99
An M&S jumper in rust colour, as new - £3.25
A tartan scarf - £1.25
A huge shawl/scarf with stag print - £3
A Pumpkin Patch zipped jumper for my grandson - £2
Have washed and all drying on the line, washed and did my own hair and will get my daughter to do my nails when she's here tomorrow.0 -
