2 new Charles Tyrwhitt white shirts for OH for £2.50 each. They retail at £50+ each.
Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot.
  • A pure lambswool cardigan in a lovely sea green for £3.50.
Two other cardigans for £3 each, both acrylic; one is beige textured stitch and another in mid-purple, bonmarche.
Two pairs of jeans £2.95 each, one m&s.
Sainsburys TU shirt for DH £2.50, hardly worn, lovely dark maroon, suits his colouring handsomely.
Bonmarche skirt, brand new with tags, at least one size too big but such a lovely style and fabric that I will alter it £2.50. It is chambray blue with a printed design in blues and greens.
  • Today's:
A Fat Face shirt for him indoors £2
A White Stuff sweater dress for me £4
A baby mobile for the bump £3

I got a FatFace brand new petrel blue T-shirt for £3 on Monday. Also picked up some unused wooden shoe trees from Dasco for £4. I think I've seen these for over £20 in shoe shops.

On Sat we went into London for a day out and I commented to my husband that my entire outfit* (inc. trendy white chunky watch) cost less than the train fare!

    * backpack £1.25
    Next cargo pants £3.00
    Next t-shirt £2.00
    Ice-style watch £4.50

Apart from handing some things in, I haven't been able to get to any charity shops for long enough to explore. Getting withdrawal symptoms.

I am the same with TKMax - need to get my regular fix.

Even though I have had to give up the charity shop buying I still love this thread. :D

I have just downsized from a 2 bed house, to a bedroom in someone else's! In the end I gave about 24 bags (of which only 2 were clothes) and 5 boxes (full of glass & crockery) of donations to the local hospice charity.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to get another local charity to pick up my last 2 pieces of furniture in time for them not to get left in my old house, before I have to hand in the keys (pity he furniture didn't sell as it's lovely, but would rather the charity can make money from it at least).
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Because of my disability I found it hard to visit many of the charity shops around London so trying to find that something special was difficult. Then I found curbfind on facebook listing designer labels for sale in the London charity shops. So a big thank you to curbfind keep up the good work.

Can't help feeling there's a sad story behind your post. Hope you're okay. A lovely thing to do though, helping others by donating your items rather than having an eBay blitz.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D
