My local Barnardo's had everything at £1.99 yesterday. So I got a winter coat, a soft camel classic one (don't know the content as the label is German, and abbreviated German at that, but it is a lovely light snuggly material). The brand is Elisa Fend, seems to be Austrian. I could only find one similar on-line, in the Oxfam shop - at £80!

Plus the complete first series of the Sopranos for the OH - also £1.99!

I got a Halcyon Days scented candle in a little porcelain container for £2.50. Don't know the RRP but Halcyon Days stuff is mega expensive.

Plus a Chuck Berry record for a quid :D

Yesterday I got a massive duvet cover for £1 from Age UK. It has turned into the first Pound Charity Shop in our town. Everything £1. I will cut it up for quilting.

I got a pair of lovely soft, lined pair of pale blue curtains 44"x56" for £8.99, a multicoloured paisley patterned pillowcase for £2.99, two silver/glass wine glasses for £4.99 and a heavyweight multicoloured glass candle holder for £2.50. The fabric will be perfect for making framed wall hangings for my friend's kids for Xmas. Buying that quality of fabric would probably be about £20 per metre.

Bit late to say this, but at the beginning of the year my husband got a pair of large Sanderson fully lined bespoke curtains in William Morris 'Fruit' fabric for £4. They look beautiful in our Victorian sitting room. Would now like a pair of Willow Boughs pattern for the dining room :)

My MIL has got me some TU black cords, in my new (smaller :T) size, and managed to get the longer length ones too! They look unworn, and cost just 20p.
I intend to go down another size so didn't want to spend too much ;)
    They fit perfect!
