send him out again then
fantastic bargain btw
Wonderful bargain! He loves rummaging around charity shops (I don't). He had left me having coffee in Morrisons, came back , he'd bought them just because he liked the pattern. I liked the pattern too, then I said 'I'm sure that is a famous pattern', looked it up and YES! William Morris, which we both love anyway.
Deffo will send him out again!

I tell my OH about my bargains and he rarely cares lol! The only things he's ever liked were a pair of grey trousers and a jumper I found for him (the grey trousers were pretty much identical to an old pair he'd just ripped and refused to throw away because he loved them so win-win! He got new pants, I got to recycle the old ones into craft projects and stop them cluttering up my wardrobe!)“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. Just done the rounds of charity shops (6) in our village and got:
- a FatFace short sleeved shirt for OH, looks unworn - in the washing machine as I type and will be put away for Xmas - £1.49
- An Animal short sleeved top - perfect match for some flowered jeggings I bought from BHS (half price in the sale) - £1.99
- A Next white T-Shirt, quite fancy, looks new - £1.49
- A 2 CD Classical set - also will go away for Xmas - £0.50

I got a Body Shop oil diffuser for 30p (reduced from £1) and a pair of men's gorgeous, colourful, brand-new Boden shorts for £7.50. I saw a newish pair of Hotter trainers but they were too big for me. Boo.0

I'm sulking because I spotted in the window of one of my fave c/shops today one of those key rings that whistles when you clap your hands, so you can find your keys. Only 30p. Just what we needed, as OH had a mega panic about his mislaid car keys last weekend, and I'd promised to look out for one for him.
Anyway just as I was looking closely to make sure it was what I thought, a hand came through from the shop and hooked up the keyring. I went into the shop to find another customer paying for it. Ah well, some you win, some you lose  .
I did get a nice 100% cotton polo shirt in OH's size for £2, which looks unworn as it had a long loose thread that anyone wearing it would have cut off. So all was not lost.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

charity shop rule is if you see something you vaguely like - always pick it up and don't put it down again until you are sure you don't want it :rotfl:

The way I read it, Bogof_Babe hadn't gone into the shop yet, she was outside looking in the window when someone inside the shop picked it up.
But I do agree with you, if there's something I think I might want I carry it round with me whilst I'm still looking at other stuff.0
