It's amazing what turns up on the Canadian prairies.

Found a serving plate from Kahla for my DDR collection. Yes, I'm trying to corner the market on East German dinnerware!

I always pop into the hospice shop as it is in aid of the hospice where my best friend recently died. She was a bargain hunter, like me so I always manage to find something I like and I know it would make her smile too. Today it was a Planet, very pretty, white blouse, brand new, I think, certainly nearly new. OK, it was £7 but Planet stuff is dear. It looks really nice on and I can wear it with my summer skirts (all charity shop stuff this year).

Today I bought a brand new still in packaging fitted double bed sheet for £2.50. I have washed it ready to put on the spare bed. The quality is good too. Loving this thread I am amazed at peoples finds. What I love about CS is that you never know what you will find in there. love it :)

  • Popped in on my lunch break and found a Ted Baker skirt with the labels still in, so clearly never worn. It's original price tag tells me it was £99. I picked it up for a tenner. Chuffed to bits.

Love many, trust few, learn to paddle your own canoe.

“Don’t have children if you can’t afford them” is the “Let them eat cake” of the 21st century. It doesn’t matter how children got here, they need and deserve to be fed.
