Just got a bright pink M&S short lightweight jacket (says its part of a 2 set, not sure what the other part is meant to be?) for £4.99, a similar one on their website retails at about £40.

Does it have a belt? M&S do this if there should be a belt or scarf attached. This is so that if the item is returned the staff know to check the item is complete.

Ah, it makes sense now! Yes it does have a belt, but I never clicked that that's what it would mean when it said a 2 part set....mystery solved, thanks!

Got a lovely Per Una Navy Blazer in BHF - not cheap at 9.99 but perfect condition with lovely detailing and a beautiful fit. Didn't mind paying the extra bit as its such a classic & I'll have it for ages
Whitesatin Know what you mean - I started CS shopping about 30 years ago when times was 'ard - over the years I've had some fantastic bargains both household and clothes - the lure of the chase gets quite addictive!

  • Went to Frodsham yesterday and there quite a few chaz shops. Got Next jeans for me £3.99, books 50p each, Next traccksuity bottoms for DD 99p and John Lewis jeans for DD £1.99 and an Osprey leather purse for 50p retails for around £40

Nice market town Frodsham, lovely park there for the kids and pubs etc and Morrisons where I picked up a few whoopsies so all in all a good day!
I have every possession I want. I have a lot of friends who have a lot more possessions. But in some cases I feel the possessions possess them, rather than the other way round

Got my eldest a Black Veil Brides Tshirt for £1 in a charity shop in Sleaford - she's more excited about that than she was about any of her Christmas presents, I think, so definitely a bargain!

I noticed in our town that things in the charity shops are getting really a lot more expensive - even not really very good makes. We live in a little village about 5 miles out of town and they cs there is much better. That sounds really tight doesn't it? But we are on a budget and I wonder if it has affected turnover?
