Been into 4 charity shops in our village this morning (the 5th was shut) and found nothing to tempt me apart from a Lee Child book - 'Gone Tomorrow' for 25p.

    So I'm sulking.......

A Jigsaw patterned cardigan in pinks and browns for £2.50
A Laura Ashley shift dress in teal with pink and cream roses and darker teal swallows on the fabric. This was £8.00 but it looks brand new.
A longish navy crochet cardigan for 3.99.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

    one life, live it!
  • A Monsoon embroidered cardigan/jacket £4.50
A Next jumper BNWT (nice and warm for "Spring" £3.99)
    Latest Jo Nesbo Hardback £1.50
    Autograph summer top £2.50

    Happy with my haul today.
    Normal people worry me.
  • Pink Hollister T-shirt for £1 in the RSPCA shop. The NSPCC shop was closed which is a shame as town was packed and I'm sure they would have been busy.
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
  • Got a gorgeous bright turquiose/teal blue leather look satchel style bag from the BHF yesterday! Looks brand new like its never been used before, and if it has, it's in excellent condition! Everyone has commented on what a lovely colour it is!

It has a handle on top and a long shoulder strap and a turn lock fastener on the front in gold and black, looks really stylish!

Very pleased with my £4.50 bargain!

I got a strawberry jam pot, which is originally from Next. I had been eyeing it up in Next for months, but never bought it and they stopped selling it recently. Cost £5 from Next, was priced as £3 in the charity shop, but I only had about £2.70 on me, but the lovely lady in the shop let me have it anyway :) Brand new, still with tags.

It's the same as the one here http://www.next.co.uk/x514332s2#137875x51 but bigger.
  • Just got a bright pink M&S short lightweight jacket (says its part of a 2 set, not sure what the other part is meant to be?) for £4.99, a similar one on their website retails at about £40.

Does it have a belt? M&S do this if there should be a belt or scarf attached. This is so that if the item is returned the staff know to check the item is complete.

Harry Potter lego set - Hogwarts Castle, Hagrids Hut and a few more bits inside. All practically new as most of the bags of Lego inside were still sealed. About £160 worth alltogether. Cost my mum a tenner. Also a brand new with tags per una top - originally cost £29.50. Paid £4.99. Very happy this week!:j
  • That is an amazing find Traceypan, I am quite envious!

My recent find was a rain jacket for DH in the local team's colours/logo that he has recently started coaching for, £1.00 in as new condition, great for the recent Spring (!) weather we've been haivng!
