What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

well it seems that the curtains I bought yesterday weren't quite the bargain I thought they were........ because 'they' became 'it' - just one curtain0

But I did get 6 large kilner jars unused for £8 - bargain I must say
Lucky! I'm always on the look-out for proper Kilner jars, or those nice French Le Parfait ones. Got two 3 litre ones recently for three quid each and I thought they were a steal. I think people get rid of them because they lose the rubber seals and don't know you can buy replacement ones for less than a quid each......0 -
Great morning in the charity shops this morning - Wallis dress £3, Noa Noa smocked top £2, East linen skirt £4, monsoon floaty cotton skirt £3, Next linen trousers £2, 10 books for £1. Eldest daughter bought a lovely Mango dress for £2, Middle daughter bought a pile of dvd's for 20p each - and I also got some lovely laura ashley curtains which I'm going to use to recover the chair and dressing table stool in my bedroom, they were only £5.
Very jealous of the kilner jars, never see them in our charity shopsLove many, trust few, learn to paddle your own canoe.
“Don’t have children if you can’t afford them” is the “Let them eat cake” of the 21st century. It doesn’t matter how children got here, they need and deserve to be fed.0 -
I got a nearly new M&S cardigan for 99p from the sale rack. Not sure it was supposed to be there, it was much better than all the other stuff on the rail, but never mind!
In another shop I got a tweed skirt in a lovely jade colour. Its not my style or size, but it will make a lovely little blanket or something else as there is loads of material in it, it was also on a sale rail for £1. Bargain!0 -

I bought a set of Le Parfait jars from Robert Dyas the other year for Christmas and had to return them all as the tops on each of them chipped when I closed the lids.Wasn't impressed at all, and it's totally put me off them now.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Managed to get a big bag of buttons for 50p. I'm always looking out for nice ones as I need them for a project.
When I opened the bag at home, amongst them all was a spare button for a Per Una cardi I have but that I've lost a button forit's a slightly different shade but I can pop that on the top & move that one & it won't be so noticeable as I don't have the top one buttoned

Just got a bright pink M&S short lightweight jacket (says its part of a 2 set, not sure what the other part is meant to be?) for £4.99, a similar one on their website retails at about £40.
A pair of M&s cargos for £4.30, again retailing at about £40 on their website.
A coral coloured vest top with silk detailing round the neck and arms from Oasis for£1.99, retails or about £12.
All from the BHF where I volunteer.0 -
A cream linen Fenn Wright Manson skirt that fits like a glove, and comes to lower mid-calf, which is my preferred length. I've got masses of their cotton polo neck jumpers, and it's exactly the right outfit with a belt in this weather. I've been looking for one since my FC one died about 10 years ago. Yay! Also, four men's cotton shirts in XL and really, really fabulous colours for patchworking, each one £2.50 or less, a dark blue checked double duvet colour, and a fitted and a matching flat double sheet in sky blue with two matching pillowcases. They were all needed by Easter, so I'm really happy.Better is good enough.0

Needed a cream skirt, due to an unfortunate Biro accident, and saw a nice Jigsaw one for £3.95. Also picked up a 100% merino wool Hobbs polo neck in a lovely dark orange colour for £7- it is totally jumper buying weather.
These are Wimbledon charity shop prices- I still consider them a bargain! They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -
An adorable lilac mohair cardi with matching-coloured lace edging: £30
