Love the sound of that combination of colours.

    Not a badly-priced pick-me-up. :)

Was walking pass a local Hospice charity shop and spotted a brand new "Ching's Chinese Food in Minutes" cook book in the window, but no price on it. When I asked it was only £1 so got to be the best value new hardback book price in a long time. Not sure whether I'm going to keep it for myself or put it away in my present stash!

Got the fake roses yesterday for £2, in my opinion not too bad for fake ones either!
and the vase was £1 which I bought not too long ago all from charity shops. :)

Needed a cream skirt, due to an unfortunate Biro accident, and saw a nice Jigsaw one for £3.95. Also picked up a 100% merino wool Hobbs polo neck in a lovely dark orange colour for £7- it is totally jumper buying weather.

These are Wimbledon charity shop prices- I still consider them a bargain!

I paid £2.99 for a M&S fine merino wool pale grey v neck today. It'll be ideal for the Easter weekend with jeans and a bright scarf ( might even wear a thermal vest underneath).;)
  • Picked up a 90s Jaeger wool cardi for €5 in a charity shop, delighted with my purchase, washed it and ironed it only to find some sneaky dark marks on the stripey pattern, argh!

Took grandsons yesterday and bought big rspca animal hospital mobile ambulance plus a few small toys. Kept them busy for hours. Bought myself huge pottery ethnic fruit bowl which looks great on my upcycled dining table. Less than fiver the lot.
