......a sweet little sherry glass for 20p. It's got little rose swags cut into it and has a grass green pedestal base.
At the moment it's holding a lily flower that fell off my Mother's Day bouquet0 -

Wow! Total bargain! I know from experience that Magimix items aren't cheap, can't believe someone was selling one for only £6!!
Is that the exact one you got, in cream? It looks really nice and stylish too!0 -
I bought a couple of things at the weekend including a pair of flat suede boots lined with wool for £4.95 in the new Sue Ryder shop and most comfy they are too.0

Georgiegirl256 yeah cream one.Weighs a ton.The first juicer i picked up for £5 was just a basic juicer but looked better than the rubbish one i had at home. Didnt know when i paid another £1 to get the Magimix it cost £150 i only swapped as i just thought it was a better make.
2 brand new 2 seater sofas, they didnt look like they had even been sat on was for sale for £20 each and i went there to find a sofa for my son but thought he might not like them so didnt buy but really should have done as they would have gone nice in his room.Oh bought a Sebo vacum cleaner at the same jummie last year think its was £8 and its the best cleaner i have used.
I am really lucky with my Jumble sales as live in a posh area.0 -

1 pair debenhams jeans for me - £1.50
5 books (including The Help which I've been looking for)- £1 the lot
1 book of Christmas sheet music - 50p
3 drinking glasses - 50p each
1 pair curtains that match my hall ones - £2.50
1 earring holder (holds 80 pairs) - £2.99
1 set of mini cookie cutters - teapot, teacup, sugarbowl, spoon & cupcake - £1.50
1 set of 30 curtain rings with clips attached - £1
& 5 buttons that the chap in the shop gave me for free - they were the only thing I went in for0 -
Got a lovely Per Una top in my local Sue Ryder - was a bit bigger than I usually buy 'cos it was a 'clingy' fabric. Tried it on at home - lovely apart from the fact that the armholes were much to big & showed my bra
Took it back yesterday & found a nice cherry red denim jacket to replace itI think the assistant will put the top on at a higher price when it goes back though.
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
I had a ride out to a market town near me which is a 'posh' area and got a metal heart with beading round the outside and a bag of material for crafting total of £5. The hospice shop has undergone a revamp and the prices are now higher
I use to get loads of bargains there but it was really posh and the old ladies said they felt a bit out of it now... bless em.
I was about to buy a summer shirt for DH in the BHF but at £6, thought it was a bit steep so walked away. But I did get 6 large kilner jars unused for £8 - bargain I must saySPC Nbr.... 1484....£800 Saved £946 in 2013)
(£1,010 in 2014)
Coveted :staradmin :staradmin from Sue -0 -
Sitting looking out of the window at big, fat snowflakes falling, this seems very silly but I've just bought a summer maxi dress in a mushroom base colour with fuchsia, turquoise, purple and lime pattern (sounds hideous but it looks lovely, and they are SOOOO my colours) and the top of the dress is trimmed with beads and sequins - for £4.00.
The bonus is that it doesn't even need taking up!0
