    It was my MS Typo!

I wanted the bag for myself, not to sell too. It seems genuine and not a fake too!

In which case, fantastic, well done!!

  • Today I only intended to buy myself a much-needed pair of jeans.

    Whoops! :rotfl:
    • (Cancer Research) GAP bootcut jeans - (half-price: £5 > 2.50)
    • (Amnesty) Mabel Lucie Attwell cross-stitch book (half price: £2.50 > 1.25 (but I paid £2 because it's such a fab wee book!))
    • (Oxfam) Complete Book of the Flower Fairies - £1.99 (on Amazon for £21!)
    • (Oxfam) H&M merino wool jumper - £4.99
    • (Oxfam) Ted Baker polka dot skirt - £5.99 (absolutely delighted with this - it's gorgeous!)
    • (BHF) Joie knitted hooded cardigan - £3.99
    • (BHF) Massimo Dutti dress - £6.99
    • (BHF) Red Sfera top - £2.99
Everything like new and perfectly fitted as well! That's my spring wardrobe sorted :D

I was wondering -- do you prefer it when the clothes in your CS are organised by colour or by item? I used to prefer them by colour, but I've found it's easier now when it's organised by item -- it also stops me from going wild at the "purple" rack!

Some good stuff there Razzamatazz, I used to love Flower Fairies when I was little.

I prefer the shops which have things by item type as its easier and quicker to see if there's anything in the right size.

Don't usually have enough time to look in each of the colour sections in the vain hope of finding something which will fit (usually end up disappointed as I've only ever found lovely stuff which is completely the wrong size).

  • Went for a cahz shop spree in Heswall at the weekend. Got a nice purple Next dress for £1.99 and a necklace to match also £1.99. Best bargain though was Mum got a pair of North Face walking shoes brand new for £15. Thought it was a bit expensive until I googled them and the exact same ones were £150!!!

Also noticed that some chaz shops sell books for 60p or 2 for £1, some are £1.50 each but Oxfam were horrendous! Some were £3!! In fact most of the stuff was really expensive in there, dont know how they make any money.
I have every possession I want. I have a lot of friends who have a lot more possessions. But in some cases I feel the possessions possess them, rather than the other way round
  • Eh, because some of their stores sell stuff much cheaper. Like the one I go to, which has some really keen bargains. I might pop in this afternoon and see what they've got after I've scoured the nearest Sally Ann thrift shop on the way. Now, THAT'S the place for sensibly-priced things. Leather handbags for a quid anyone?

I must admit I prefer by colour - 'cos I dont 'do' cream/brown, oranges or leaf greens.
One of our local CS's sorts them by colour AND Item so really good.
Havn't been on a 'trawl' for a week or so so I feel one lurking :)

I prefer the items sorted by size, purley because i get depressed when everything i fins turns out to be too small/big. Its nice to just go in the area that has things that should fit.

a pair of spanking brand new Clarks court shoes size 4 from the BHF shop in town for the bargain price of £6.00!!!!!!!:j Exactly what I needed for work. The ones I had were about 17 yrs old (hardly worn) but were a bit dated. Popped in yeterday hoping to find something for DD1 & saw the shoes.

    Perfect!

Today I bought the most gorgeous skirt (summer weight), it has a print design of Paris (with the Eiffel tower) and the front is decorated with sequins too. It's a bit too small for me, but still a plus size so loads of gorgeous fabric to make into something else if I don't fit in it by the summer!

A very nice Ulla Popken purple hooded fleece £3.50 and a long sleeved black top for £3 (not exciting but useful in this cold weather).
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
