What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

Popped into a couple of cs today looking for a specific item but couldn't find any , but came out with a pair of 48" x 54" cream damask type curtains, fully lined for £4.99.
Label said dry clean only but a 30c wash, line dried and ironed whilst still damp and they look like new."When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us" Alexander Graham Bell0 -
Curtains can be fabulous bargains. I got a pair of brand-new slubbed cream cotton tab-topped ones, floor-to-ceiling length for fifteen quid. The price new would have been way beyond my means.
Now, if only I was handy with a needle and cotton I could get going on all sorts of craft-type projects with cheapo re-purposed curtains.
I haven't been charity-shop shopping for yonks, so I'm off to my favourite Sally Ann one this morning to see what I can find.0 -
Got an ipod dock for £1.80 today. I had been looking at them yesterday and a really cheapo speaker was £7 - am over the moon.0

Bought a gorgeous solid pine coffee table from the local hospice shop for £30 - well worth it as very chunky! So pleased!!:j:jJanuary 2020 GC - £151.09/£180
February 2020 GC - £0/£2000 -
Off to Chichester today so will be looking round all the CS & see what I can find.
Will let you know if there are any real bargainsSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
From Pershore (Worcs) yesterday: Lovely black and white Monsoon top £4; latest Kate Mosse hardback "Citadel" £1.55 and Next trousers (almost new) for £2.99.Normal people worry me.0

Hi, I'm a new poster here, but have been a long time lurker and lover of this thread. I am a recent convert to CS shopping and love the hunt for a real bargain. Yesterday it paid off I managed to grab a brand new Mulberry purse for the bargain price of £15.00. I know it seems a lot for a charity shop but they retail at around £175.00, which I could never justify! I also picked up some Autograph toddler jeans and top for £1.99 each and pair of next jeans for my little boy for £1.99 also. Chuffed to bits with my haul. :j0

All I can say is I hope they get some more stock in Kitty - 'cos I found b***r all!! Oxfam had a nice navy skirt but £15.00 was too steep for me & I didn't really need it. I was quite disappointed. All I ended up getting was some 2lb Loaf Tin liners from Lakeland - full price hahaSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Haven't seen this thread before tonight. Have not been to a CS recently but have had many bargains. Our best buy was a wall cabinet, the type that has cupboards on the bottom, display units on the top either side of a pull down flap that becomes a writing unit, and also a midi-hifi cabinet for £35. Another day I spotted a writing cabinet and bought that for £30.0
