Mabe sometimes someone has bought something in one CS & re-donated to another? Blossom18 months ago I saw an old friends collection of dolls in a second hand shop - they belonged to his wife & he treasured everything she had. Obviously the house was cleared & that's where they ended up - it really upset me for quite a while. (also made me re-think some of my stuff too)Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

I wore the beautiful orange coat today and must have had 30 compliments on it (:j:D:j). It's a Primark coat, and I've told everyone it was only £3.25!

I think the problem with a lot of the cheaper brands is that they're priced the same as high street for t shirts and tops but a lot of the customers recognise the label and reject it. I guess if it goes onto the shop floor for a few days and doesn't sell it can go to the ragman. They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0 -
I haven't been charity shopping for ages, but indulged myself today and got some real bargains. This jacket for £3 http://www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/women/clothing/sweatshirts-and-hoodies/wellsoft-fleece-zip-up-pockets_sorrel.htm
A Boden skirt for £1, Next linen trousers for £1 and a Fat Face top for £1, plus a couple of Pumpkin Patch & M&S bits for my little one.I read that some of the shops 'pass on' Primark items because they're getting so many of them - they're just too cheap to buy firststhand that they're only worth peanuts secondhand & so take up too much room when they could use the rails for M&S stuff as folk equate those with quality.
I've bought Primark bits in charity shops if they are priced realistically- more things like dresses than tops though.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Hi, tried a different CS today - it's out of town and limited parking but I managed to find a parking space. Not sure if it was really a bargain but I got a childs wooden Ikea chair for £5 (I've started to shabby chic if already), also an original Suffolk champagne cooler for £1. I collect them, so I was rather excited when I saw it.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0

I bought a very large john lewis silk scarf today in pink paisley (my fav. pattern) for £1.99 and was nearly tempted with a fleece lined peeked knitted cap but it was grubby and decided to pass on this. I also bought a large bag of 100% cotton knitting wool in deep purple, I had to unpick some of the knitting (am still not sure what it was) and together there is 700gms of wool, I have already started to knit a kitchen cloth.

Wow, some great bargains here!
Today I found a load of reduced greetings cards in Barnado's - 39p each. I got eight, for various events.
Our Barnado's seem to be selling all clothes for about £1.99! Bought two useful jumpers (one M&S) and a Laura Ashley blouse.
Pretty glass bead necklace in another shop was £1, and two more cards in their cellophane, 30p each. Best bargain was in the free bin outisde - a wine glass and a grey marbled effect vase - nothing!0
