It doesn;t matter where a wage comes from, a good/bad job is just that. IO expect exactly the same standard whether its Direct Payments or my own cash.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, if I was a man nobody would think twice about the fact I work and dont sit at home with "children I look after myself"

Your child is such a hinderance to you, bless his little cotton socks.
To think there are people out there that would give their right arm for what you have!

Out of interest....is the direct payment £50 ????? oh..and I work..even though I have seizures standing up, sitting down or upside down.
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
  • I haven't done anything fraudulent - I have a genuine condition that genuinely causes me to collapse, and I claim assistance for that on the recommendation of my doctor.
I have never said on any forms that I can't walk more than 50 yards, or that I can't wipe my own arze, I've told the truth and this is what they've given me. Simple as.

Everything I get is for the protection of my 3 y/o. I'm sure I dont have to explain what a 3y/o can get up to in 10 minutes unwatched. Would you begrudge me the aid, then for him to burn the house down or get run over whist I'm unconscious??
  • sarahlouise - I haven't received my direct payment yet it is only in the middle of being processed but I have been told I will get £200 a week. Obviously, if I get that much I will increase my au pairs wages to reflect that.

I never said he was a hinderence to me. If my working full time means he's a hinderence then every working man in the UK must be hindered by their children too.
  • When you blackout out sometimes only once in a month, a 5 day heart monitor will not pick up symptoms.

I'm only claiming what the stupid government throw at me and say I'm entitled to, so if it p1sses you off take it up with your local MP and get the law changed.

You are claiming what you have engineered from an over exagerated condition ....you have made sure you meet all the relevant criterea. I cannot believe..even after your previous post has been quoted where you admitted you would say you had symptoms when you did not...that you STILL believe you are entitled to this money.

I blackout. What is there to engineer?

  • Laugh, but that is what the Assessor said, £12 an hour for around 20 hours a week
  • God this makes my blood boil on so many levels:mad:

The fact that you have admitted to fiddling your DLA application because it's "survival of the fittest"

The way you tar all DLA recipients with the same brush as you and state they are only interested in how much cash they can get their hands on.

The implications that all SAHMs must be depressed and bored out of their skulls.

The thousands of people on here who would love to be as fit as you and to have a lovely little boy like yours.

As we must be nice to all moneysavers I will refrain from saying exactly what I want just wanted to defend all the people you have slated with your sweeping generalisations but probably may as well:wall:
