Its survival of the fittest as far as I'm concerned.

This says it all, it's people like you who make a mockery out of the whole system whlist genuine people who need it have to jump through hoops to get it.

I was illustrating how a person could fake symptoms to get DLA, there is a perfectly good reason why Lower Back Pain is the most common claim for DLA - because it is unproveable.

I ran down the stairs because the monitiors were only on 24 hours - not long enough to pick up useful data, since syptoms aren;t always present within a 24h period. I wasn't inventing symptoms, just speeding up the process "for good measure" so I didn't have to wait another 6 weeks and have another montior put on.... etc.

    what utter b*******.
The heart monitors are kept on for 4-5 days whilst I am at home.

  • And I can guarantee that the blackouts will happen between those certain allocated hours, how exactly??

But you yourself said you needed her for 3 hours at nights and weekends:confused: What are you going to do when your son gets older???? As I am sure your research will have told you ..as they get older then you need someone with you less and less.
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
  • It IS survival of the fittest. That is my outlook as far as life in general is concerned. No one will ever do you any favours, no one gives a tinkers cuff if you and your family survive except you and your family. It's been that way since time began - the quick, the strong, they get on it life, the weakl and slow wither away and die.

Yes, I'm out all day. I'm in bed after that time. That covers every day, all 24 hours of it.

To be fair ...I have had an EEG (brain monitor) on for 5 days whilst at home. I believe this did happen...but for her to openly admit she faked her heart rate "just in case nothing happened" just proves a point.

She states that she only had the monitor for 24 hours thats why she felt she needed to give it a helping hand, but in her original post she states she had it for 4-5 days ;)
