It isn' 24 hour care in the sense that they are physically up and working 24/7. Its hardly working when all you have to do is listen out for a huge bang every few weeks and then hold onto DS for 10 minutes to keep him from harm!
Pink-winged - I have no inconsistencies and I wouldn't have expected such irrelevant judgment from someone appointed as a mod anyway.
I blackout. I don';t blackout sat down or laid down. Im sure most of you will agree that i can't cook dinner, bath a baby and all that sat or laid down.0 -
Miss K ... you have said in previous posts that you have never actually been diagnosed ..you have said you have had scans that show nothing..you have said that you ran up and down the stairs while wearing a heart monitor and said you were watching TV...you have said anyone can fake fainting and get taken away in an ambulance so it is noted!!! I think you are very clever..you say what needs to be said to get what you want - you want DLA, extra tax credits and an Au pair "personal asst" so you have blackouts...sometimes...only when standing as you dont want to lose your licence. Sorry..thats how I see it..I have analysed your previous posts at legnth (to give you the benefit of the doubt) ....things just donet add up. You are receiving your wages, DLA, Direct payments, £100 per week tax credits and have money for a cruise etc but begrudge your "personal asst" juice when you only pay her £50 per week(direct payments??) ....I would let her have the juice!I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0

I am not a mod, I am a board guide. You can see from my signature that any views expressed are my own.

Most adult workers working in the UK legally can expect the minimum wage which is £5.35 PER HOURHit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.

That is your opinion and I respect that. I have been diagnosed as having a racing heart rate and blackouts, it is the cause that hasn't been diagnosed.
Anyone CAN fake fainting, whats your point? It doesn't mean I am! Making mental note not to express an honest, taboo opinion in future.
If this concerns you such, feel free to explain what you feel doesn't add up. I have never claimed that I am ill all day long, other than blackouts I am a normal, healthy person capable of working and going to uni. DLA/Direct Payments know I work and go to uni, I am not hiding anything.
£100 pw tax credits - well you work it out I work 16 hours a week, I earn £9,000 a year and get DLA mid rate. Why doesnt that add up?
How I pay for my cruise is neither been disclosed, or for you to pontificate, fir all you know I could have put this on my credit cards.0 -

1..the Au pair (by day) "personal asst" by night actually works all day looking after your child.
2...mmmmmmm......do you do your vast amount of ironing (as stated in previous posts) sitting down as well ????
3..I have never stood up when bathing my daughter!! I sit by the side and play with her!I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0 -

Au pairs do not come under UK working laws, it is a scheme all of its own. They are not legally getting "wages" they are getting "pocket money" (their term not mine). I am paying the going rate and one she agreed to before booking her flight.0 -

I can iron, and cook, and bathe my son. BUT I have to have someone on hand IF there was an emergency. She doesn;t even have to be in the kitchen/bathroom with me, she could be in her room, as long as she is in a situation to hear a thud if a collapsed.
Childcare, well what would be the point of paying for nursery if I have an au pair sat at home? As already mentioned, I hired the au pair long before claiming Direct Payments and have paid for Au pair out of my own money for approx 6 months.0
