Euro Car Parks - ticket and now Debt Recovery

I parked in a free car park, managed by Euro Car Parks. I overstayed.
We got 2 letters, addressed to my husband as the vehicle keeper. This morning we got a letter from Debt Recovery Plus, who usually, I see from the sticky re: threatening letters you will get, work for UKPC.
I am ignoring ignoring ignoring, but wanted to update that Euro CarParks are now using the same debt collection agency as UKPC.
My husband is bricking it, btw - it's his name on the letters and me who won't let him pay the "fine"
Should I scan this stuff in? Would it help?

Bricking it? Why? If he is the vehicle keeper, but wasn't the driver, then he CANNOT be taken to any court for payment. Neither does he have to say who WAS the driver. This is precisely the scenario from which, properly handled, you can sue these morons for harassment- a nice little earner!
You are right, under no circumstances pay! It's clear who wears the trousers in your house.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Yes if those letters are still not shown in the top thread under ECP, please do scan each one and then send a pm to Crabman to add the 'newer' version threatograms to the ECP letter chains shown in pics in the top thread.
But your letters are in fact not that new, ECP started chopping and changing to DRP in 2011, just to ring the changes:
LetmeGooglethatforyou clicky, wait till it loads with a list of Google results for MSE then read all the other threads from last year onwards.
I ignored a fake PCN from ECP 4 years ago and my husband didn't like the letters one little bit either. I laughed at them every time and he could see how sure I was that it's all a scam. Which it is. Nothing else happens as it's not a fine, not a crime, and there will be no comeback, no effect on credit rating, zilch.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you both for your feedback.
Coupon-Mad, I have looked through the letters from the companies, but didn't see ECP linked with DRPLtd, which was why I asked, but you're right, none of my letters are new! The one I got from DRPLtd is identical to the one posted under the UKPC section, but obviously with the client name changed.) Off to make paper airplanes after watching the Watchdog clip! Thanks again. That google clicky thing is REALLY clever!!

Don't throw the aeroplanes out of the window, though! They are valuable evidence if you sue! I can just hear the judge saying, "and why are there these folding creases on the exhibits?":rotfl:0

I won't sue. Too damn lazy ;o)
Interesting to see that Debt Recovery Plus and Parking Collection Services have the same registered address on Companies House website. pffffffffffft!0 -

And Zenith as well, wait till you get their letter saying they have 'purchased the debt' when they are also just the next desk along!
There are also some threatograms where, strangely, the signatures of two different 'named staff members' is amazingly the same squiggle. What are the chances of that eh?! :rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I hope you are keeping that doubting husband of yours informed as to the revelations of what a scam this whole business is, Miss Marple.. sorry, Anna!0

He is out getting pickled, but I will show him tomorrow when he has a bad head. One of the directors of DRPltd is on Linkedin, she's very young and pretty to be doing such a horrid job.
I am quite looking forward to my Zenith letter now!0 -
Probably just the boss's bit on the side.0

Listed as a director/secretary and seems to live at one of the previous registered addresses. Maybe it's an old picture
HUsband VERY drunk. Need to make him a brew and a fried egg bap now, might help with the hangover later.
Thanks again for your help, lovely xx will update when I hear from them again, as I undoubtedly will.0
