Where did you go on honeymoon?

We went to Dahab, on the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. Really enjoyed it, although we were both so exhausted we slept for the first 3 days so dodn't get as much diving in as we'd hoped! Not sure I'd have considered it with a young child in tow, though (hygeine isn't exactly a priority and they're mental drivers!). But the diving is out of this world

we plan to get married in the next couple of years, depending on when we can afford it. we plan to go to london for 2 or 3 nights on our own for our honeymoon to watch a show etc and then hopefully plan to go abroad somewhere with the kids a bit after x0

A week in a converted stable near York. I got food poisoning from some dodgy fish and chips and spent the second half of the week throwing up. I was still ill a fortnight after getting home.
My husband definitely saw me at my worst on the honeymoon, but he stuck around and it's our 20th anniversary this year.0 -
Way, way back, in 1963 - I'm 20, he's 23. We spent our honeymoon on the Norfolk Broads, sailing a small sailing boat called ....Ecstasy!!!
It was wonderful - our very first "home" together, sailing from Oulton Broad, up through Potter Heigham, down through Acle & Beccles ....such memories
.
Came back to move into our newly built first home together ...we were so very very lucky.
Went back to the Norfolk Broad 10 years later, with 3 small children who still remember Mummy trying to film Daddy when he fell off the boat!!0 -
My husband had to go back into work at the start of the week after our wedding so as a thank you his boss gave us a loan of her apartment in Paris for the following week.0

we went to Malta (7 years ago - no kids). we took the buses to different parts of the island. some old towns, some more modern towns. we went in April and it was very quiet - quite a few over 60s there for the Winter sun!
it's nice and warm (but not overtly hot for a little one), flight is just over 2 hours, can hire a car and they drive on the same side of the road and speak English if you are worried about that sort of thing. Beaches are good too.0
