No joke, I was active, walking, swimming, I thought I was about 16 stone but hadnt weighed myself in 2-3 years. At 17 stone I am now a dress size 18. I was a 24 and thought nothing of it.
I'm sorry but are you sure you're an 18?! I am size 16/18, got huge hips, thighs and broad shoulders (jeez I sound like a right catch!) but I am 4 stone lighter than you... how does that work?! xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
lkmc01 I agree that the leaflet you were given wasn't great, but if I were you (just to be on the safe side) I'd do a test and make an appointment to have the implant replaced. Also (if it were me) I'd continue working on my weight as you've already done so well. My SIL started weightwatchers a few months ago and she was about the same height and weight as you are now. Unless you are very muscular, it's unlikely that you'd look ill at 13st.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

I went to the doctors to see how my depression is on the citrolopram. I have never had a doctors appointment in regards to weight and this morning my partner convienced me that being pregnant was 'all in my head' as the implanon is not due out until June.0 -
fluffnutter, there is no need to be rude.
Sorry! It's just my obsession with Scotland. I write lots of 'jovial' posts about our northern cousins. They're not meant to offend, but I do appreciate that if you don't know me, you could well think I've gone too far. Take a pregnancy test.
Tell your partner you are doing it to put your mind at rest.
If he doesn't like it tell him tough sh*t, it is for your peace of mind.2 angels in heaven :A0 -

Apology accepted.
I'll buy 2 tests, if they both read negative shall I forget about the possibility of being pregnant then?
With my first child I had a positive test from the off.0 -
OP - when women are broody they do have a tendancy to 'symptom spot' and convince themselves that they are pregnant. The mind can play terrible tricks on us.
By the way (and don't take this the wrong way) given that you posted a thread at the beginning of the month asking how late into pregnancy it is safe to drive for, why did you not mention the fact that you think you could be pregnant to your GP today?Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0
