what to buy my bride as a wedding present?
Comments
-
presents exchanged between bride and groom, multiple groomsmen (whatever they are), finding jobs for uncles, paying for suit hire for most of the extended family, paying for dresses for 15 bridesmaids, expecting guests to pay to get to the Maldives to witness the ceremony, ...
Weddings have got a long way from when I got married (and quite a way from anything to do with money saving).loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -

Sod all the ettiqutte. If you feel the need, get your bride something associated with one of her interests, and, if possible inscribe it with a personal message.
Truly, it's the sentiment rather than the contents of the box!0 -
.. Sorry, too many tabs open.0

Yep you used to get married couples allowance back in the day.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.
(Wisdom, Courage, Self-control, Justice)
Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0 -

My OH bought me a kindle and I bought him a kinnect - but too be honest if we weren't getting married we probably would have just got those at Christmas anyway :rotfl:
He also booked a lovely 2 night stay at a 4* spa hotel as a surprise as we hadn't planned a honeymoon.0 -
I'm facing this dilemma. My OH is the most difficult person to buy for - I nailed the engagement ring so don't want to disappoint!
We both hate having our photograph taken (picking a wedding photographer has been particularly fun!) I want to get her something completely unique and personal. I'm toying with the idea of facing my fear and commissioning a photography artist to do tasteful nude picture. Ladies is this a stupid idea? I'm more than happy for you to be brutally honest if you think I need saving from myself!0
