what to buy my bride as a wedding present?

well sometimes brides on here get signed photos / cards from the grooms favourite sports team. Maybe you could do something along similar lines. If you have time, try contacting her favourite singer/author/actor etcDebt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0

How about a modern Charm Bracelet. You could get a Pandora bracelet with one charm on it. You could then add to it each year on your anniversary

Life is sometimes a bit pants but occasionally you can wear your french knickers!0 -
How about a necklace with a locket. You could have it engraved on the back. On one side of the locket you could have a photo of the two of you on your wedding day. The other side of the locket could be kept for adding a photo of any children you have later on.Intellectuals solve problems, geniuses prevent them ~ Albert Einstein0

Mine adopted me a red panda...we married at the zoo and they're my favourite animals. He actually got me the kids pack as it meant I got a cuddly red panda toy which he gave me during the speeches. And each year on our anniversary he can re-adopt it for me...which I like and he's happy as he won't need to think of anything!!0

The big thing is that it needs to be something personal to her that she will know you chose with her in mind. Thus the red panda and Battersea Power station above
both gifts that the vast majority of people would look at and think 'eh?' but have magic and meaning to the recipients.
So the trick in this is listening to her. Getting her to talk about her childhood, what mattered to her, places she loves, people she loves. The important thing isn't what you spend it's that you thought about her. It could be that for her this is a spa day or a helicopter ride or whatever.
The other thing is to check in with her mum or sister or best friend what she would like. She will most likely be touched by the fact that you went to the effort and pleased that you're building a relationship with them in your own right.
And if all else fails, go shopping on honeymoon and pick something together to commemorate your wedding day, 2 nice memories in one.0 -

Mine bought me a sextant. We're both sailors and he knows my dream is to take kids away for a year or 2 sailing. For a while he wasn't sure about kids and he's still not 100% about going away but on our wedding day he gave me the sextant - a really beautiful one perfect for my small hands and said it was for when we sailed away with our kids. It was the best present he could have got for me. I hired him an old MGB for the day as we weren't getting married until 3pm and I new he'd be nervous. It is also the car he always wanted but never got.0
