Ooh Valentine, have a restful day today, now is not the time to overdo it. Take care of yourself and that precious bump.
PP poor you and your family
I hope things improve soon.
Kyle, forgot to say  how nice your hair looks. Mine looks like I've had a serious electrical shock this morning :rotfl:
Well, plucked up the courage to finally listen to my answerphone messages, was going to be brave and ring back Nasty Boss to explain myself - discovered that of four messages two were from my sister and two were from OH, both worrying whether I was OK :rotfl: :rotfl: serves me right! Also gets me off the hook, I can stop feeling guilty and make a fresh start on looking for somewhere reasonable.
Taplady, I hope things settle down for you and DS. Presumably he realises there are problems in the relationship so maybe won't be as shocked as you fear.Hope not <hugs>
Right, I must get OFF this computer and go and do something housework related

Just been and caught up with last evenings postings.
Blairweech, hope things work out for you. Take care hun.
Taplady, how are you all today? Hope you manage to sort things with DS. Sorry, my earlier posting about hair must have seemed so flippant, when you have more inportant things on your mind.
Spoke to another friend of my aquaintance who's missing. He's really worried, as it's so out of character for him not to keep in touch with his parents (he lives alone). He enjoys his job and is good at it. Main worry is that he does a lot of hill walking, and may have had an accident, but no-one has any idea where in the country (or world) he might be.
Frugal Fairy - your singing sounds fun. We're doing Faure's Requiem (and the Cantique) and Beethoven Mass in C (very difficult). The choir master was nearly in tears we were so rubbish yesterday. Will be doing lots of practice this week.

Valentine - could you perhaps be getting a bit anaemic? I did each time between 20-30 weeks, and it might be worth mentioning to a midwife or doctor.
kyle - love the hair!
I'm unexpectedly at home as DS1 not at all well. After a serious illness last year, he's been vulnerable to stress, and something seems to have triggered a bad time for him this week. He's tearful, withdrawn, and not doing anything at all, not even watching dvd's or listening to music. I've managed to get a Dr's appointment for this afternoon. Fingers crossed.
I know I've read several references to stress, depression etc. If anyone has any useful advice on what support I might offer my son. I would be really grateful. You can pm me, if you don't want to put it on the thread.
Have a good day. Hugs to all who need them.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Afternoon everyone,
Thankyou all so much for your kind thoughts and wishes, it means more than you will ever know. I will reply to those who PMed me in a minute.
I feel absolutely dreadful this morning. The shock of whats happened is kicking in and is making me feel so sick. I miss OH so much already. I want to be with him, I love him.
He is justified in his decision. I had been getting in contact with my ex-bf, so its all my fault and I deserve everything I get.
Kyle - love the hair!
Taplady - Good luck with your son tonight
Moggins - Yay on the course
Hope it makes you happy - you can come and coach my life after you've graduated if you want, I certainly need it!
Was going to wash my car but its pouring down. Will do Mums ironing instead. Have to ring a selection of B & Bs later to see if I can stay in one for a week.
Have a good dayWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Hi Again!
I have resorted to thinking that there are no decent cleaners left in the world
The windowsills have been missed along with my corner unit and wall unit with my ornaments. My glass units have runs down them where she hasnt wiped them after...the marks are still on the floor that were there before she came...and thats just the lounge:mad: ....I feel like crying!
Does anyone know of any local cleaners to me?

awww sorry pp but lets be honest here - you have been through a number of cleaners and none have been able to meet your standards so in my mind you do one of two things, drop your standards (cant see that happening;)
) or get very process driven about how you expect them to work with you - you were in the work place not long ago managing people and therefore I bet you know that if you make it easy for them to succeed they tend to!
Why not type out a very clear tick box chart for them to give back to you once they have finished - that way you can be clear as to what you want from them and they can show you what they have been able to achieve - you can then be very specific in how you want something doing
eg Glass on units smear free..................................
All window sill to pass the finger test..................
I know its a bit OTT but I reckon its better to coach and train who you have rather than keep on looking for someone new.
:rotfl: :rotfl: got to say my house would defo not pass the pp test:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Hello Everyone
I've had a very healthy morning. Actually had breakfast for once before coming to work, brought some HM flapjack for midmorning snack and I've had a smoothy. In the fridge I've got a mullerice, which I got on BOGOF.
Tonight's dinner will be liver and bacon with brocolli, cauliflour and potatoes
Just popping to Mr T's tonight for a few essentials, the big shop can wait until Thursday.
Got some more stamps from the mail today for charity. Just emptied the box, so off I go again!!!
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Had another spare few mins (OK 30mins!) so a perfect time for a catch up I think.
Peem - Darn your eyes are good! I even went back to the picture to check :rotfl:
Crazychik - Glad to see you followed your instinct with the e-bay thing. Just shows sometimes you just know.
Penelope Penguin - Why do I have this strange picture in my mind of you standing outside of the door to the restaurant shouting to the family "GO, GO, GO!"
moggins - Good on you is all I can say. I hope your course brings you the changes you wanted
looby - Things will get better, just remember to hang on in there (I know it's not that easy though) - BIG hugs
frugalfairy - Shame you didn't get to tell him where to stick it, but thinking about it, it's probably better that way :rotfl:
katiekoo - Great picture, your boys are really cute
Penny-Pincher!! - HUGS, here's hoping you get it sorted out soon. As many people on here have already said if I was closer I would come and do it for you.
On another note I was wondering if anyone could help. I'm starting Slimming World again on Monday and I've also been following the meal planning threads with interest. So my question is, has anyone done a meal plan whilst being on SW?
Any help would be fab
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0
