  • Morning!!

Kyle I think your hair is lovely too.

Rchddap I hope Lily continues to make such good progress.

Quiet day again. Just catching up on laundry and tidying bedrooms. I didn't do much yesterday so must pay my penance today:o

Will get car back from garage today and I'm dreading the bill _pale_ If I tighten my belt anymore I'll chop myself in half:D
Otherwise just gearing up for the weekend. Girls have gymnastics today so I will spend the afternoon in the leisure centre while the house stays tidy, knowing that come tommorrow my housework will be undone again and my kitchen wil look like northern Baghdad again

Tea will be chicken kebabs, baked spud and salad if I get my backside in gear.
OH loaded the dishwasher last night and put it on so now I'm off to unload it, wash all the things that are still dirty because he put them in upside down and clean out the bottom of it which looks like a sweetcorn graveyard. At lease he hasn't emptied it cos sometimes it takes me a week to find the grater after that:rolleyes:

Have to go as cat has decided that of all the places in the house she could sleep, my right wrist is the bed of choice and it is getting difficult to type.;)

Love and hugs to all that need them.:grouphug:

    Haribo

Edited to say; Glad you've found a course moggins. You go girl!

TapLady - Thinking of you at this worrying time

    Kyle - lovely hair!

Up later today after yesterdays early start.

Had a bad evening last night with big boy. He's got another detentionat school for persistently doing something that he has been told on many occasions to stop doing. He hid behind the sofa this morning refusing to go to school. I had to drive him in the end as I was worried he would't go if I let him walk. He hasn't really settled into the school. He loved his old school and is extremely resentful that he had to move. I really don't know what to do about it. His behaviour is getting worse but it's only at school. His recent school report was pretty abysmal. Worrying makes me crave chocolate - why did I give it up for lent !

Baby girl is asleep in the car - thats the downside of taking the big uns to school in the car. It messes up my routines:mad:

Going to put away all last night's ironing. It builds up when you don't do any for 2 weeks. Must remember not to get flu again !!!

Hugs to everyone in need. Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all!
Ok, I slept in again.... my bed is just so cosy I love to lie in it all snuggled up. No wonder I don't want a fella - it never felt this good when I had one :rotfl:

Kyle I think your hair looks wonderfull, I'm so envious of you! It looks like a really good cut.

Taplady - I hope your chat with your DS goes well. I still make the mistake of being very open about my depression, and sadly while those of us with it no longer get instantly locked away, many people struggle to accept it, and virtually everyone you tell treats you differently - and I only have the much talked about average 'clinical' depression, not manic depression which frightens people even more.

ICE ((hugs)) to you as you sound so poorly - I hope you at least get the weekend to snuggle up and look after yourself.

Dogrose - I so need to join you and crack on with my college work. I'd like to do an access course next year - but if this is how bad I am at keeping up with an easier course, heaven help me!:o

Rchddap - I so love your piccy, what a gorgeouse babe. You enjoy every minute hun... we'll probably all still be here when she's 18 :p

Tired mum - your post made me chuckle as I thought you were about to say that you saw pen and the walking bus and was going to stop and offer her a lift!!!

Moggins - I am SOOOOO pleased that you have found a course, I have no doubt that you will be fantastic at it, so at least now you will be able to get the accreditation. FU fund shouldn't end there though.... I'm sure there'll be plenty of other things in the future ;)

Right DS wants the pc back again. When I came online last night I had to type MSN replies for a good half hour to the eldests mates (I type quicker) before I could get back to MSE, and this morning the youngest wants the pc.
I should really use my slots to do my homework... but you guys are far more interesting :D

    Love and hugs to all,
    Kaz x

PS - Make sure you copy all posts this morning guys.... I just sent this one and got an error message. Thankfully it posted anyway - but boy did I feel queasy while I waited to see!!!!!!

  • Morning all,

Hello to all the newbies from yesterday:hello:

Kyle the hair looks lovely - I have curly hair and it drives me mad - I don't have a ponytail - I have a pompom instead:D

    Hugs to taplady

Moggins - go for your course:beer: Is it one you can do from home?

I am going to have a quiet day today - dh was working at home yesterday so I had to be on my feet all day otherwise I get sarcastic comments about not working. (not too serious I hasten to add)

Had a very non OS time last night in HMV but the cds were all so cheap. However I got caught out. I had been talking to the kids about the difference between needs and wants earlier - so as I was standing there with a fistful of cds about to pick up a Carl Jenkins one, dh suddenly asked whether it was a need or a want:rolleyes: Of course it's a need:D

Packed lunch: tomato soup (from a tin - Fri treat), HM ginger biccies, raisins

Dinner: Rubber chicken tikka masala, HM naan and rice

Off to do a 3 mile walk in a mo - gym avoidance technique - would much rather be outside.

    Have a good day everyone

    I love your hair!

DH is just going to give me a lift to York to get tickets for DD to visit her sister in Newcastle this weekend.

Have a huge slow cooker full of pea soup for a late lunch - DH loves this and he has been very good at giving me lifts to get cupboards stocked up etc.
May have a quick look round the shops and see if I can get any bargains.

    happy anniversary to CCstar

I posted yesterday and then the post disappeared!!!

    Hugs to everybody.

    Hi all

Thanks for all the comments about my hair, wasnt expecting any:D i dont normally smile in photos but mum also said i should have smiled as it would have made the photo look better:eek: flaming cheek!:rotfl:

  • Good Morning All

(((hugs))) to anyone who needs/wants one.

Kyle - hairstyle is lovely, think it is you who uses the conditioner only method if so it looks in lovely condition. Think will have to try that, I too have curly hair which I detest so straighten it with GHD's.

Queenie - my DD had a day like that and she was a rich person so had chicken ham and bread whilst the poor had bread and water.

Well its Friday!, lovely and sunny here which is very lucky as have a riding lesson at 11am with my sister, we are then out for lunch as it is her birthday. Have got a lovely couple of days actually which is an unexpected bonus. OH & myself are going to Belgium tomorrow for a day trip, children didnt want to go so DS is staying round a friends tonight and tomorrow & DD has agreed (reluctantly admittedly) to stay round her Nans. SO have no children tonight and tomorrow. This is very unusual for me. So are making the most of it and am going out for a meal tonight at a local american diner. Downside is that wisdom tooth is still playing up so no steak for me.

House is clean and tidy, ironing will be ignored till Sunday (can have a lie in also as football cancelled again). So today just going to do some paperwork.

Will be catching up bigtime on Sunday but will be worth it. Am completely out of HM cakes and biscuits so will have a baking day then also.

    Have a great day.

    Kyle
, love your hair, looks great!

Crazychik :) hope you enjoy paying that debt off, great feeling isn't it!

Morning all. Right well, the last day of half term, I have survived and still have my hair!! Mine is the same as many others today, housework, meal plans and shopping. Need to list what we have in first. Dragged a chilli out of freezer for an easy tea. Need to call the vets to book madam in for her 'little op' don't want any more puppies here! Been watching for milkwoman alll morning, paid her up front then have missing milk problems, just typical. Also waiting for delivery but DP says he'll wait in with kids for delivery while I go shopping :D huge relief for me, if they go I spend more and it take MUCH longer!

Best go get a wriggle on, have a great day everyone.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Morning Everyone,
Didn't have a very productive day yesterday-kids still on halfterm so its a bit up in the air.
Went out last night got my mum staying over-went to see the good shepherd preview in the west end-OH loved it I just couldn't keep up with the story line, nothing actually happens it in ! It was about 3 hours long so we didn't get to have our swanky meal after coz everywhere was closed so great money saving !!
Gonna hav to do some shopping 2day as the cupbaords are sooo bare-finished the last of the frozen HM meals tooo so really desperate. Got to meal plan tho and am soo bored of our meals at the mo.
MOney worries are at the worst that they have ever been and my sunny disposition is slowly wearing thin-sometimes wonder how and why we keep doing this everyday  surely things will get better soon.
    Have a good day all,
    looby
  • Morning all! Nice sunny day here but there's big black clouds coming our way too...

Hugs to all those who need them, especially Blairweech and Taplady <hugs>

Well I plucked up courage and left my job yesterday. Actually it was a bit of an anticlimax since the Bossy Boss wasn't there so I had to leave a sort of message for him :rotfl: he rang here three times last night but I was fortunately out. Haven't returned his call yet this morning, don't quite know what I'm going to say to him, 'you're a bully' would just about cut it but I don't think I've quite got the nerve....

Penny Pen you asked what sort of choir I sing in -it's a chamber choir, 8 parts, about 28 voices. We'll tackle just about anything but specialise in unaccompanied sacred ancient music.

Gingham Ribbon - Baby James is seriously gorgeous. Hmm, now how can I persuade someone to produce a grandchild for me?? :rotfl:

Have a good day everyone. I've treated myself to a celebratory cooked breakfast so am stuffed at the moment, but will have a salad for lunch and a piece of salmon and roast veggies for dinner.

Hugs to all, because I'm in a good mood!
