grannybroon Im very fussy about my Indian food, It took me ages to find a decent curry house in my area, to compare with the ones I was used to when I lived in Birmingham. Luckily I have found 2. BUt it took some doing. Now I only stick to the ones I have tried, tested & appreciate the food!
Quite often I cheat, and when Im visiting B'ham, I usualy stock up on samosa's (much cheaper there 20p than here 75p ish) and freeze. I used to an Indian girl who taught me how to do an excellent potato & egg curry, it sounds disgusting, buts its cheap & very filling. Its been a while tho since Ive done it,

Loobylou pleased to hear your Dad is helping you out, never the easiest thing to ask. I remember our first house we had nothing and had to get my Dad to pay with his card, we paid the bill of course. Things I am thankful for and remind him of in times like last Xmas I bought him a new laptop because I knew his PC was broken and he's almost housebound so relies on it, told me I shouldn't have so pointed out why I should.
grannybroon sorry to hear the treat wasn't nice, I've started making my own with the curry secret book, after similar experiences, much better
but it did take a lot of making so extras in freezer to reheat
Crazychik sounds a cheaper option, paintballing is all the added extras, extra balls etc, my friends went thinking would be about £40, by the end each paid about £100 as they had used more balls than they thought. Hope his birthday goes well whatever he decides on.
DP having a right night at work, feel for one guy, he got in the cab and he said 'take me to the highest bridge that £10 will get me to' then started arguing with himself. So DP went down main street and got coppers to follow him to the hospital, possibly another escaped patient, poor guy (has happened before and he got pulled over by police as they were looking for the guy who was in his cab)
Well just taken some pain killers, resisted all day, tried accupressure and all sorts else before taking them but this headache just won't go, in fact it's hurting to type, vibration through my arms, yes it's that bad, so will keep this short, good night all, see you in the morning. One day I might be more organised...........

I got away with calling it the bed time song for a while ! Our icecream man used to come around at about 7.30 until I informed him that he wouldn't get any of our business at bedtime ! Now he comes at dinner time...every night !

We had one came round at 8pm last year (regular one was on holiday must have knew) someone threatened to let his tyres down if he came round at that time again, a few used other verbal ways to convey anger at little ones being woken up, he hasn't been back :rotfl: what a suprise.
Right headaches starting to go a little, should have took those painkillers earlier, me being stubborn, right off to bed while it's feeling better

Sahmx5 I've just this minute logged on and as luck woud have it alighted on Queenies post. From what I can gather on a quick to and fro I agree with her 100% You must make a complaint to the police!!! I am so !!!!*d off with the attitude of schools!!! Every time we have a child committing suicide the school comes out and says we have a vigorous anti-bullying policy! Well it's not doing much is it?!!!!! You have to forgive me but this is a pet hate of mine and I get very emotional and aggressive at the same time! I'm fed up with their easy-exit ways! Punish the aggressors and protect their victims, it's not rocket science!!! Sorry for the rant, I'll meekly go read the thread now, but I'm crying, both in sympathy for your dear son, and in frustration at a system that prefers the easy way out!!! In the morning give your son a hug from me!

This will seem a frivolous edit but Kyle, just love the hair!!!! Very, very jealous lolYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
