Who knew ooey-gooey would be so popular?!
Yes, Karma, I took the plunge after looking up Team Profit (Cheery is more than welcome to say 'I told you so'!). It's not as complicated as I thought (or at least, the bit I'm doing isn't). And there is an actual video to walk you through the first bet in its entirety - so that's really helpful.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

It depends on what it is - savoury and I’m all for burnt on crispy bits, especially mashed potato and cheesy pasta. But there’s nothing like warm chocolatey banana-y soft sponge crumbs!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Yes, it was cheese on top of tomato sauce last night. I have tried to line all my sweet baking endeavours with paper (after the debacle with a scourer and knife on my non-stick bread tin). In the hope he forgets...Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Afternoon all,
Hi Yummymummy, thanks for reading!
Have just returned the nightmare project - am so glad to see the back of it (for now)! It was lots of money thoughAnother project has already landed, so I'll crack on with that tomorrow (and invoicing). Hoping to keep Friday free so that DH and I can go out for the day - somewhere, anywhere! Weather forecast is grey and cool, so hopefully there'll be no idiot hotspots.
Dinner this evening will be some sort of tofu-based nutty stir-fry, I think. Will use up the radishes (including the leaves) and a few more carrots, ready for delivery day tomorrow. The carrot fritters we had last night used up lots of carrots, but they weren't great - a bit soggy in the middle. Would try again but make some changes. However, the harissa yoghurt that they were served with was a winner and definitely something I'd make again as a dip for crudites.
MS things:
* Using up the veg
* 1P surveys
* PA surveys
* Work done!
* Reduced rate for evening classes (both because they are shorter and because it's being done privately)
Gratitudes:
* The project is DONE!
* Assistance from Mum with one bit of it
* Cameo appearance by cat during evening class was entertaining
Have a good evening all!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Morning all,
Started the day by checking the PB app - I won £25! Yay! (I love that there's an app just for checking!) Somehow managed to win my bet last night, so the money's in the bookie's account, rather than the exchange. Will set that up to withdraw ready for the weekend.
Have a project to get done today and then we're off to the seaside tomorrow - weather forecast is overcast, so hopefully it'll be quiet. If not, we'll go elsewhere. Dinner last night was a bit of a fail - all a bit burnt and not as nutty as I'd hoped. However, it did use sugar snaps and spring onions from the garden, as well as the radish tops.The sugar snaps were particularly good
Have had our R'ford delivery and it all looked lush; now all put away, bar the carrot tops, which will become part of lunch. Looking forward to the nectarines and apricots.
MS things:
* PB win!
* Clicks done
* Work
* 1P surveys
Gratitudes:
* Lovely fresh food from R'fordI enjoy it so much!
* Food from the garden
* Fun quiz last night (it was hard!)
* Day off tomorrow to look forward to!

Morning all,
Had a lovely day out yesterday and enjoyed a quiet beach, a spot of rain and a delicious crayfish, mango, chilli and spring onion baguette (only half as it was cash only (what?!) and we'd got some out but not enough). Also bought some samphire from a man's driveway and some lovely goodies from a farm shop (including delicious strawberries). It wasn't busy where we were and it was wonderful to have a change of scene. Had a cheap takeaway when we got back, courtesy of a referral bonus from Ubereats for the takeaway we had the other week with DH's family. Last one for a while now though.
Off to DH's parents to attack an engine and gearbox again today. We'll be enjoying not standing out in the rain this week though as we can carefully go inside (and watch the F1 qualifying). Bought a couple of bits to feed ourselves from the farm shop yesterday - looking forward to those. Dinner tonight will involve the remainder of the tofu opened the other day and some other bits. Tomorrow we'll be having another tomato and camembert tart to use up the rest of the cheese, the pastry and the thyme.
MS things:
* MB placed for 3pm kick-off today
* Yoghurt made
* NT membership saved us some parking money yesterday
* Clicks done
* Took snacks (and lunch was cheap as we had to share!)
Gratitudes:
* Fresh air (caused a brilliant night's sleep) and the sea
* Wonderful open spaces
* Small businesses (and having the means to support them)

I thought cash was viewed as the purveyor of all disease these days??? I've been trying to offload some € on BF as he's going away and I want the money and the bureaus (bureaux?) are closed so I can't sell them back!
