Sorry - Hazelnutty - I mean to say, here's the recipe for the salmon burgers - they are lovely! Sadly no idea where the recipe came from - it's one my mum uses.
450g (1lb) skinless salmon fillet finely diced
4 Spring onions chopped
1tbs lemon juice
1tsp dried tarragon
1tsp Dijon Mustard
3 tbs Mayonnaise
salt, pepper
oil to fry
To serve:
4 toasted burger buns or 8 slices toasted bread
Cucumber peeled into ribbons
3tbs Mayo with finely chopped spring onion mixed in
Serves 4, 650 calories per serving, Cost per serving £1.40, Prep 20mins, Cooking time 6mins
1 Combine burger ingredients, except oil, mix well and form into four burgers.
2 Cook in oil in frying pan over medium heat for 3 mins on each side until golden.
3 Serve on buns or toast, garnished with cucumber and mayonnaise.

Work now done.
£8.29 from PP (Ebay sale) sent to savings, along with £20 from my 'cash buffer' in my current account. There's still £50 in there and who needs cash these days? (Money to savings because I'd forgotten to allow for what I owed DH for food shopping before I sent stuff to ISA! - so replenishing stuff I had to take out of Marcus).
Trying to set a bet up but the bookie's site is just not playing... I'll have to try again later.
ETA: Bookie started working, so bet placed... but odds changed slightly so I messed up a bit (only a few pence on the trigger bet I think). That will teach me not to check and ensure the bookie bet is placed before the lay bet.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Hi Mad Vix. I am just catching up and so impressed that you have mastered matched betting. This is definitely something I want to do when I have a bit more head space : )4

Busy Mee, definitely not mastered, but I do understand the basics! And it’s not that hard! So much more satisfying that faffing with surveys (even though I still do this).Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Morning all,
Small bit of work done this morning, Nutmeg LISA opened and invested in, matched bets placed for tonight, and sister's birthday presents ordered (just realised I didn't go through TCB
) - used S&S credit for £10 Am voucher so have transferred that from present pot to savings and paid the cash portion off my cc bill already. Still ought to get her a little something extra, but not sure what.
Need to make some biscuits or similar as we have nothing to munch on. Pizza for tea, so the dough is proving. Leftover chilli for lunch. Still didn't sleep brilliantly, but hoping to achieve a bit more today. Still damp and miserable here though.
Had a random email the other day from Shell Energy saying they'd overcharged me and would be refunding me, with a £5 apology payment. As we've never had 'Shell' energy, I didn't really pay much attention - thought it must have been a mistake/wrong email address. Turns out that they've bought First Utility, which we did have an account with and they've actually sent us the money! Only ~£20, but every little helps! I think I'll pay this off the mortgage! If only I'd heard from Tonik....

2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
Morning all,
It's been a busy few days. DH has taken every Friday off since May - with the cancellation of our holiday he has a lot of leave to use up. So on Friday we visited his parents to work on the shell of a Mini that is on their drive. It's technically BIL's, but he's not interested/doesn't have the knowledge to do anything with it. We're still stripping it at the moment, but DH has some ideas for what to do with it. BIL doesn't seem to mind (our proviso is we'll only do so much before it starts costing us - but he doesn't have the money to sort it at the moment). We've also helped to clear the in-laws' garage a bit too, which is full of rubbish. We've been over for the last three weeks now, so it's becoming a routine. Saturday DH did some work on my car and I pottered in the house in the morning and then Mum, Sis and Niece (bubbled together) called round in the afternoon for a cuppa. It was nice to see them and Niece kept asking Uncle to play - he's very popular since he played football with her on Fathers' Day! Yesterday we took the mini out, did some litter picking (where we cycled last week - lovely view and everyone takes their takeaway and dumps it there) and then went to BIL's for a BBQ in the evening.
However, the big thing that has been taking up brain space is a house we'd seen on RM. Had written a long paragraph about it but was trying to get through to agents whilst typing and have just heard that it's under offer.... So no point thinking about it any more! Frustrating, but has brought up a few questions for us to consider. With the stamp duty situation, we'd like to move, but we do need to work out exactly what we want in terms of RE vs property, quality of life etc. Big questions and no easy answers. Any thoughts welcome!
Back to the more mundane stuff...

* Various small bits of work this morning
* MBing was a bit scuppered as 888 are taking ages to give me my money back, need to check up on this this morning.
* Clicks etc. done
* S&S submitted
* Comps entered
Gratitudes:
* A lovely trip out in the mini (forgot to mention we also bought some locally made ice cream too - have yet to try it, but a jersey herd, so it's got to be amazing, surely?)
* Family time, with both families

Ooh, madvix, though, does under offer mean accepted? And certainly, working out what you want - and even getting yours ready to put on the market at a moment's notice - would be no bad thing. That stamp duty holiday won't last long ... good luck!Love your OH's popularity with the football2023: the year I get to buy a car4
