Morning all,
Afraid I just used two pairs of gloves for my cat sitting in the end - it's was too complicated to remove them for the photos I have to take and then keep hold of them (while keeping phone clean). And this morning I was glad of them as some poo had escaped the litter tray... (sorry, TMI!). For future, longer visits, I'd work something out, definitely (maybe even gardening gloves?).
So cat sitting done, various small bits of work done (and getting stuck into the bigger, nightmare (!) project). MB continues - I'm up nearly £50 now.Didn't go for a cycle this weekend as the weather was a bit rubbish. Did go to the PIL's and stand around getting wet in unpredictable showers whilst trying to remove a gearbox from an engine block.... I can't even complain, it was my idea! MIL fed us lunch though and it was nice to see them. Brought some bits back to Freegle and several bird feeders, including one with meal worms in ('They were giving them away free'... 'But you don't feed the birds because of the squirrel problem'... 'Yes, but they were free'.... Honestly!!)
MS things:
* Clicks (this morning - forgot yesterday so lost my MS rewards streak
* Bread baked
* Washing on line getting dried by the wind
* MB
* Lots of work
* Cat sitting(didn't actually ever see the cat, except when I visited to get the key!)
Gratitudes:
* Work
* Dinner cooked by DH yesterday
* A quiet day today
Have a good day all!

Hiya! I haven't caught up yet, and nor have I been able to post an update on my own thread (four paragraphs is "8 characters too short", apparently) but I just wanted to say hi, and I'm back, seems to be safe access. Time will tell!xxx2023: the year I get to buy a car3

Thanks! I still couldn't post on mine after I experimented with posting on yours, so I think I may "have" to start a new diary. Maybe its time anyway ...I feel like having a glass of something, I'm so happy to be back!2023: the year I get to buy a car3

Afternoon all,
Continuing with the nightmare project today and have realised that I really need to crack on to get it finished by Thursday (proposed deadline, although I don't think it would be a disaster if it was late - client realises the difficulty it poses). Otherwise all is quiet here... I need to go to the PO with a couple of ebay sales later (but definitely today) and I've got my virtual evening class this evening (and have worked out a way to cheat on the homework!). I think we'll be having some sort of carrot fritters and new potatoes tonight, but how, or what with, I've not completely worked out - just know we need to catch up on both of these before veg delivery on Thursday (another expensive one).
MS things:
* Clicks done
* YG survey done
* 1P survey done (every 10p counts, right?!)
* No MB until after Weds eve, as I've got all my liquidity tied up in the West Ham v Chelsea match.
* Banana cake baked to use up two brown bananas (the heat last week did for them)
Gratitudes:
* The purple wildflower I can see from my seat - from a packet of wildflower seeds planted in our new window box (I'm sure others will be along eventually to join it!)
* A chat with Mum
* The ooey gooey bits of banana and chocolate that stick to the silicon loaf tin - it would be rude to waste them!
