The other thing you could conside with the energy company is bang off a letter to one of the broadsheet newspaper finance agony aunties - if they look into things like this and get results because of the poor publicitySave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Afternoon all,
Thanks Jessy!
Thanks SL. TBH, for the amount it is (~£70), I don't think the papers would be interested. I've reread the Ombudsman's details and I definitely can't go to them yet, as it wasn't an official complaint until 2 weeks ago. I have however chased the company as they haven't got back to me (from the complaints department or the customer service department) within the 10 days they specified.
Mum and I had a lovely time at Wimpole on Thursday, although it was rather hot. I have finally got around to writing up my blog post for NTbB. It's just in final checks and then will be published. I'm not sure why I'm reporting this here though - it's not really MS!
I visited my cat sitting booking and we're good to go there - only two visits this time (Sunday night/Monday am), but the lady said she was looking for a regular cat sitter. And they live within very convenient walking distance, so I'd be happy to visit again. A bit of a different experience - wore a mask for the visit (so hot!) and will wear gloves (you can imagine my joy at single-use plastics) for both visits.
Have also been very busy with work and this is looking likely to continue for at least a week, and possibly longer (awaiting info on a large project). This is really good news!
I've placed a couple of bets today, so should make a nice profit on those. MB is easy now there's lots of premier league matches every day!
MS things:
* Clicks etc.
* MBing
* Cat sitting hopefully a regular thing
* Proper work!
* Free pasta with my supermarket delivery (part of an offer, not just an accidental extra!)
* £6.20 cashback earned on the cc that I virtually never use
* Broad beans and raspberries from the garden
* Surprise Ebay sale of something that's been listed for ages!
Gratitudes:
* NT visit
* It's cooler today - phew!
* Work
Hope you're all enjoying your Saturday!

Hi you could wash the gloves when you get home to cut down on the single use.

Good idea CR, I think that would work - I’d be happier just washing my hands but then I’d need to wipe everything I touch down, so it’s for their benefit rather than mine IYSWIM, so I could do that.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
