Ooh interesting, it's something I've always avoided due to being terrible at maths, but if it really is that straightforward it could be something to investigate during my forthcoming time on my hands.... Thanks! Will give it some thought!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I would like to have a go at this but I did not understand the references you made for getting started (guessing somewhere in the forum I don't go normally, but not sure about video). Nothing on forum SL, just google the website ‘Team profit‘. It’s completely free, they have beginners videos to explain everything and will walk you through the very first matched bet and then give detailed instructions for the rest, up to £800 of profit. Then there’s more for when you’ve got the hang of that!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Afternoon all,
We've been for a pleasant 30 km cycle this morning to the village whose hall we used for our wedding reception. Took snacks and sat on the bench in the middle of the green for a bit watching the comings and goings (including a funeral procession) before heading back. Just had a very fancy lunch of scrambled egg, smoked salmon and samphire on granary toast... honestly, need to get out more, it's turning into a hipster cafe here!It was delicious though!
Takeaway with family in the garden this evening, with the chiminea burning. Have instructed everyone to bring everything they need - chairs, cutlery, plates etc. All I've got to do is clean the d/s loo and make sure the hall is presentable - I like this lazy hostessing!
MS things:
* Free entertainment this morning and my fitness improves every week
* Multiple voucher options for dinner tonight to get some money off the takeaway
* Clicks done
Gratitudes:
* Yummy lunch
* Nice weather - not too hot or cold
* Lovely views whilst cycling (we'll gloss over the fact that there was quite a bit of up and downhill involved to get those views, and the fact that my bike and I briefly parted ways - no harm, no foul)
Have a good afternoon all, hope you can enjoy the weather!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Hi vix, thank you the matched betting is now on my to do list. I remember looking into in years ago after seeing it on here but to be honest it seems a bit overwhelming, I need it explaining very simply 😂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4

Thanks TMV, I will take a look next time it rains - outside all day in the sunshine trying to gain a bit of order in the garden!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Morning all,
SC - thanks, but I was fine (slightly bruised chest, that's all, and not even sure how I managed that). NG and SL, you're welcome - I can't take any credit though, Cheery has been saying for ages how easy it is with Team Profit, but I didn't entirely believe it could be that simple.
Well we had a lovely weekend - DH's family on Saturday night for garden takeaway and managed to use two lots of vouchers (and everyone paid for themselves), followed by my Dad for brunch yesterday, with Sister, Niece and Sis's Partner coming round to spend some time in the garden - it's so hard not being able to hug niece and sis, but it was good to hug dad. Niece enjoyed kicking the football about with DH and it only went in the pond once. She also managed to inveigle fish food out of me and fed the cats through the window too! Meanwhile, my sister sat down on our weed-strewn patio and proceeded to dig most of the weeds up. Taking advantage of this, we quickly mortared it after they left (having intended to do this some time ago).
We've finished the smoked salmon now, so meals have got back to less fancy proportions - stir fry last night, and maybe mac and cheese tonight (but if it's too hot, then something else). I did buy some yoghurt yesterday to go with all the berries and yet more eggs and some doughnuts for a treat (which were pretty grotty, so not that much of a treat!). Supermarket delivery due Fri, so I need to think about what we need (and whether to cancel the fruit bag on my R'ford order for Thursday).
Meeting Brownie friends for a walk this afternoon which should be lovely - will remember the sunscreen!
In less positive news, my snotty email and the file I sent to previous electricity supplier garnered nothing more than an email saying they couldn't open the file and to ring on Monday. I'm not going to. If I haven't heard from the complaints department by the end of Monday, when their 10 days will be up, I'll be putting in a complaint to the Ombudsman. I sick and tired of the terrible service I get and the inability to speak to a manager - just constant fobbing off and excuses. No more!
MS things:
* Clicks done; streak on MS rewards is now 35 days, so lots of bonus points; Swago done; SBs survey done
* First matched bet doneand I lost my bets, so the money is where I need it to be
Will set the next one up later
* Washing done overnight on cheap rate electricity.
Gratitudes:
* Lovely time with both families over the weekend
* Team Profit, for free, really simple advice
* Sunshine
* Good food
Have a good day all!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Morning all,
No post yesterday as I actually have work to be doing! It's a welcome change. I'm sure it won't last beyond this project, but at least this is something. Also picked up a much smaller job (that I usually avoid, as it's not worth my time) - needs must at the moment. Have a cat-sitting booking for Sunday night/Monday morning too, which will be interesting. Going round tomorrow to check it out - will wear my mask!
MB is going well too - I need to place another of my free bets on something tonight - I did have to add more cash to betfair as my liquidity was too low to make much profit from the offer. I'll withdraw some of that when I can though.
Energy company saga continues - apparently they couldn't open my PDF file so I would need to ring them. I told them I'm not wasting any more of my time on hold and to find someone who could open it - they won't take my word for it anyway, they wanted the file! I also offered them the chance to ring me - guess what, haven't heard anything. They've got 4 days or I'm putting in the Ombudsman complaint. I would have done this before, but the Ombudsman website says not until they've had 6 weeks after you make a complaint. The energy provider website suggests it's after you first make contact about the problem, so I'll give it a try and see. They've certainly had ample opportunity to sort it out.
It was our wedding anniversary yesterday (8 years), so we had takeaway from the tapas bar - we've only eaten there once, and they've only started doing takeaway in lockdown. It was lovely, and we've got leftover dips, halloumi fries and patatas bravas for lunch, so I'm making pittas to go with it. Better still, DH's parents sent us the money to pay for it!HM pizza for tea tonight - various bits to go on that too.
My evening class last night went well so we're meeting again next week. It's trickier on Zoom, but it works and it was really good to see everyone. We're running the family quiz tonight and I've yet to write my food & drink/geography/picture round (can you see why I'm struggling?!). That's a job for this afternoon!
MS things:
* Work, work, work!
* Clicks done
* MB ongoing
* Cat sitting job
* PA surveys
Gratitudes:
* Work
* Lovely dinner and leftovers for lunch
* Plans to get away are bubbling
