Oof, you don't sound too good, madvix. Definitely best to make it the topmost priority to look after yourself. Thinking of you.

Yes I would echo Karmacat - give yourself some TLC. Have you taken your temperature? you could track it for a day or few.

Morning all,
Thanks ladies. I've not had a temperature at all, SL. Don't have a thermometer, but I've not felt fluey in any way. Am feeling better today, although still taking it gently. Get a bit breathless if I try to do too much too quickly (i.e. run around like a lunatic as usual, I'm not wheezing with every breath or anything). Would be interested to know if it is coronavirus - will investigate the antibody tests, when they become available.
With the split peas, no mention is made of any soaking or cooking beforehand on the recipe, which is what I've found so frustrating. They soaked overnight in the end (24 hrs!), as DH decided he fancied unhealthy pizza instead (his words), so we had takeaway for the most unromantic date night ever - on separate sofas, in separate beds, largely maintaining 2m distance at all times!I've boiled the peas for 20 mins this morning, so combined with the remaining cooking, that should be okay. Fingers crossed!
Tried to do money shuffles this morning, but Nationwide is having difficulties, so will try again later. My tray for the bird feeding station has arrived, so mealworms have now moved up to a safer, more obvious level for Mr Robin. (It's clearly a sign of the times that feeding the birds is such a topic of conversation!). I've also discovered a tiny bit of bird seed in the store room, so have soaked and cleaned the seed feeder and when it's dry will put that out. When I'm allowed out, I may pop into the pet shop (or see what they've got in the supermarket, more likely) for some bird seed.
Lockdown fun:
* Discovered Jimmy Carr is doing a tiny quiz of the Lockdown every night at 6 on YT, with answers at 8pm - last few days are still on there. Really good questions!
* Watched James Corden in the National Theatre's One Man, Two Guvnors, also on YT (the innovation of a new smart TV when we decorated was an enlightened move). It was quite good. The acting from others was a bit wooden, but it was something different to watch! (Mum tells me next week it's Jane Eyre, the following week, Twelfth Night)
* We clapped and unlike last week, we weren't alone!
* Knitted some more dishcloths
MS things:
* Won £25 in the PB
* Leftover pizza for lunch
* Exchanged some Yeokens (from Yeo Valley) (+ £3) for 3 issues of a magazine for Niece. Think it might be a bit old for her, but it's a lovely, illustrated magazine with traditional stories and it's post too!
* Clicks etc.
* Have extended our BuyAGift voucher we got for Christmas - they're offering free extensions at the moment, but possibly only this month - our experience was extended from an expiry of September this year to July next year - HTH someone.
Gratitudes:
* £25 PB win
* Our post lady and other delivery drivers - three lots of parcels due today, and SO appreciative of them (especially when one is much needed hand cream - my hands are so dry and sore!)!
* Mr and Mrs Robin
* Ooh, and DH did a couple of long-overdue DIY bits yesterday (he took the day off...) - small things, but they make such a difference!

Lovely! Apart from the least romantic date night ever, ha! Though even that will be a good story in years to come

Afternoon all,
Really beginning to feel a lot better, which is good. Have been out in the garden most of the morning, pruning the fuschias (probably the wrong time to do it, but they were leggy and a mess) and planting stuff. Have now sown spinach (more ancient seeds), peas, marrowfat peas, sugar snap peas (see a pattern here?) and runner beans. Only a couple of each of the bean/peas though, so we're unlikely to be inundated! The broad beans I planted last week are beginning to show signs of life
No sign of the spring onions, but it's early days. The (ancient) squash and runner bean seeds are in my mini cold frame (think size of a3 sheet of paper) and the runners are in my Nan's lovely little terracotta pots - very aesthetically pleasing!
Enjoyed lunch in the garden (the sunshine bit, rather than the lunch, which was definitely a case of waste not want not) and now having a break indoors. Might do some family tree....
Lockdown fun:
* Found some lovely stainless steel plant labels (with hole to attach paper label) in the bottom of my garden stores - wouldn't have been digging around so much had I not been desperate for seeds!
* Cats have escaped into the garden a couple of times today - love seeing them rolling around in the sun
MS things:
* Clicks done
* Leftovers used up for lunch
* Will receive my refund for cancelled train journey (annoyingly back to cc, which means it'll be in credit)
Gratitudes:
* A quick chat (at a distance) with a neighbour - it's nice to vary the very small social circle!
* Feeling better
* A garden
Have a good day all, stay safe, stay at home!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
