I recently bought the 'hot pink' Skin79 cream, but whilst it is an excellent match for my skin it leaves me a little too shiny for my liking. Does anyone have any recommendations for a quick and cheap-and-cheerful solution?
If not, I'll just stick to my Missha Perfect Cover 21. Whilst the shade isn't quite as perfect, the coverage does seem to be better and it doesn't leave me looking oily and shiny and feeling it as well.0 -

A quick dusting of sheer loose powder - the collection 2000 one is translucent and only about £3 for a budget buy and does the job of removing shine. Hope this helps!GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

I haven't seen this one mentioned but I picked up the Baviphat Magic Cream BB the other day and I love it, the coverage is lighter than Missha but still quite matte, I keep reaching for this which has to be a good thing!0

Thanks, will see about trying that out when I'm next at the shops. It doesn't look cake-y or anything though? I really liked the Skin79 for being very much like my real skin, almost too much as it didn't cover enough!0 -
Moromir, I hadn't really heard of the Baviphat one, I'll have a look at it, thanks! Glad you have found one you like!
The One Who, I just apply it really lightly with a brush or by gently "buffing" with the puff in the tub, doesn't come out at all cakey for meGC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

How is the coverage of Skin79 compared to Mischa? I just got the Skin79 minis kit delivered this week after reading this thread and every shade matches me perfectly, but I feel like I need more coverage in my T-zone and under-eyes.0 -

I've been using Holika Holika Petit BB Cream purple label but I'm going to give Skin79 a bash. However, there are loads to choose from and I didn't know what would be best so I found this website. It tells you exactly what each variety is best suited for. So I'm looking at the Hot Pink Superplus, Diamond The Prestige or The Oriental Gold. I guess it depends on price at the end of the day!0 -

Personally I found the coverage much less than the Missha. It didn't seem to cover the redness as easily, even after a second layer on those specific areas. Although, like you, the shade of the Skin79 matched perfectly.0 -

I haven't tried the Diamond one, but from everything I have read it can come out overly dewy, making one look almost shiny! Oriental Gold is supposed to be awesome especially for more mature skins though, had some great reviews. Again, I haven't tried it, just read reviewsGC2012: Nov £130.52/£125
