I love the holika moisture and this week had a delivery of the holika essential and the skin79 sample pack. (yes I'm addicted!)
holika essential was thicker but the coverage is excellent, it covers the redness on my cheeks and best of all it doesn't feel heavy on my skin.
I have tried the lightest no7 one (had a Voucher to use) and it doesn't compete with the holika for coverage and colour match for me.
so any suggestions for what to try next?
If I was you and had tried Skin79 and Holika Holika (thats next on my list!) I'd go for either Skin Food Mushroom or Peach Sake, or perhaps Missha! Probably Missha actually, just because its the first one I had heard ofReviews for all of them are pretty good! Depends on your skin type really!
I've noticed a real confidence boost too since using BBI know its all in the head, but its nice all the same!

I've just received the Skin79 one from an amazon seller, its the genuine product delivered from the UK and all I have to say is WOW, fantastic coverage, even on red parts but still looks and feels light, the colour went on very pale but has now adjusted to my skin tone, I'm really shocked how good this looks, lets see know how it lasts battling against my oily skin:) Much better so far then my beloved Colourstay and no comparison at all to the Garnier BB which is the only other one I have tried and hated. All power is from within and therefore under our control0

Just a quick update, the Skin79 is a lovely product, a little goes a long way and the colour stays true all day, I have to add a little loose powder to stop it gleaming and I mean gleaming especially through the day, its a bit of a shock to see myself so pale and with a consistent colour but good I think, I have a couple of broken veins that did need retouching half way through the day, I might try a touch of concealer under it today - all in all a good product, when I finish it (could take some time) I might try Holika or maybe the blemish one mentioned above, something maybe a bit more matte but not flat:)All power is from within and therefore under our control0

Hi, first time on this thread.
Can anyone recommend a Korean BB cream and shade for me to try? I've tried Garnier (horrid and shiny) and a L'Oreal one (better) but haven't been impressed.
I am 51, fair with blue eyes but not pale skinned - I tan easily and have more yellow than pink tones in my skin. Beige-y foundations can look very grey on me, too much pink makes me look like I'm overheating! I have combination skin and still get the occasional spot. I'd like SPF at least 15.
Thanks!0 -
I put the Skin79 on earlier using the patting method, huge difference, and I also used a lot less of the product, I used a very small amount of anti redness concealer underneath and just a touch of loose powder to tone down the gleam and success:D much better than yesterday and I look even toned but light and fresh:j
Esmy, I would get samples to try, the Skin79 I have comes out very pale with a grey look, it does settle and change a bit but unless you use some bronzer to warm like I did this morning it might be too pale for you, I have similar colouring and am a similar age to you:)All power is from within and therefore under our control0 -
I got my Holika Holika Clearing cream a few days ago (just 10 days shipping to NI, which is brilliant!) and I am in love with it!
The coverage is excellent, on a par with Revlon Colourstay - but it feels very light on the skin, unlike Revlon. It isn't completely matte, which I actually like as it looks more natural and not cakey at all. I still have to touch up with powder during the day, but only sparingly. Even better, it has actually made a difference to my skin and I have far less blemishes now (happy coincidence maybe?). It truly makes my skin look flawless and fresh at the same time, I swear it's magic! lol Oh and the colour is a perfect match to me (MAC NW25). Very very happy with it! And it's a bargain price too.0 -

Holika Holika is next on my list as sometimes I need more coverage than Skin79 Hot Pink. Have you tried Skin79? What is the coverage of Holika Holika like in comparison to that?

No, I never tried any other sorry! Maybe others here will be able to give you a comparison. This is my first BB cream, and to be honest, I'm not sure I even want to try others, because this one is incredible for me.0

Phew! Just raced through this thread...I'd never even heard of the Korean BB creams, but after being completely underwhelmed by the Garnier and No7 versions I'm really keen to see what all the fuss is about!!
Following recommendations on here and various beauty blogs, I've just ordered Missha Perfect Cover from the seller beckymortimer on Ebay...I've gone for shade 21 which will hopefully not be too light for me (I'm pale-ish with neutral undertones). Can't wait to try it and I'll be back to report on it.
thanks everyone for the tips0 -
Has anyone tried Skin79 Intense Classic Balm Premium BB cream?0
