Any recommendations for darker skin? I have been using Garnier bb cream in medium on and off which is looking wonderful on and feeling it, but then my eczema has started deciding to go awol again. (drying out quickly)

Since stopping smoking I have spent about £60 on skincare stuff that is tolerable on and am getting a bit fed up lol.

I like the sound of this Skin 79 one but would it suit my colour? Is it moisturising enough?

I ordered the Holika Clearing Petit BB from Ebay, I'll report back when I get it! I'm very intrigued by BB creams, and glad to see the Asian ones are different from the ones we get here because I tried a couple of samples from Garnier and some other brand, and they were terrible! :)

Another person here still very happy with the Skin79 hot pink BB...I wear it every single day now! I used to only very rarely use foundation but this stuff is just awesome. I didn't think much of my tonymoly BB sample (a bit watery, didn't suit my skin tone) and the Skin79 Snail BB sample was thicker than hot pink and gave more coverage but I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable buying it as I don't know how the snail slime is harvested!

But anyway, all of the korean ones I have tried are WAY better than any western BB I have sampled!

For the first week or so I just couldn't stop looking in the mirror admiring my skin!

Spicyprawn, A friend with skin about 2 shades darker than mine bought hot pink too, and it fitted her skin tone too but I'd say anyone that needs darker than a medium in Garnier BB would find the Hot Pink too light perhaps. Unfortunately, most BBs are for lighter tones, but you might have some luck looking at the Missha ones? They come in several shades, http://www.beautymamas.com/2011/07/brand-new-missha-bb-cream-shade-no-27.html

I'd take a look on Youtube for ideas, there are quite a lot of vidoes showing the colouring of different creams.

Does anyone know how the colouring/coverage of the Skin79 compares to the Missha Perfect Cover 21? I'm quite happy with the Missha, but have heard a lot of good things about the Skin 79 too.

Thanks gals, I think my best option is to just buy the skin79 one and a missha one to try. It is the only way I guess.

I am always on youtube hehe, looking at reviews and stuff and have bought some moisturisers but they are never moisturising enough! Have found another moisturiser I want to try and then I will get some bb creams.

    Thanks again :)

Bought two more BBs (i'm getting quite a collection now).

    BRTC: Blemish Recover Balm.
First thoughts - very thick but if applied in small bits it goes on ok. Strong smell of tea tree and grey caste but after a few minutes the smell and ghostly colour have gone. So far have had this on for a day and non oiy but will report back when I have had a long sweaty day at work.

    Skin79 Sun protect Beblesh pact:
I have no idea what this is for - just had the wants when I saw it. I think I am supposed to use this as a pressed powder over the BB cream to reduce oil. It gives a light coverage so will try with my skin79 cream.

my garnier free samples arrived, they were the light ones, i found it wasnt any different from my foundation in coverage but found it left my face looking shiny to the extent i had to use my mac powder to calm it down a bit

    am i doing something wrong?

I personally didn't have an issue with the garnier stuff being shiny, have you tried patting it in? It is in effect just a tinted moisturiser, so it needs a bit of time to absorb too.

I hated the Garnier stuff, so went on to try the korean stuff (skin79 hot pink) - soooo deliciously different! I use it every day, and in the past I only used to use face coverage on special occasions. Its just awesome stuff.

I've just ordered a sample off ebay from the skin79 brand-I hope it's genuine but who knows.I ordered the gold one as I sometimes have dry skin.I'm hoping it will be OK as I have very pale skin and need to go for the lightest foundation available.
