Unfortunately not! Its another one shade only product. Did the Missha not oxidise to your skin tone after 15mins or so? I haven't tried Missha myself so not sure.

I think there is another brand that comes in different shades but the name is escaping right now. I'll edit if I remember :rotfl:

EDIT: Etude House is the one I was thinking of, it comes in four different shades. Someone on here might know of others x

It kind of did oxidise, but the overall look was still paler than I'd like. I'm wearing it again today and I quite like the texture (I'm a full coverage makeup kind of girl!) so think I will try it in shade 23 to see if that's any better.

    I'll check out Etude House too...thanks :)

I had a brainwave last night and mixed the Hot Pink Skin79 with some Maybelline mouse foundation, a very very small bit of foundation, and this added to the coverage and colour, I realise that this is against the whole point of a bb cream but surly you would still get the benefits of the bb cream and its not hard to mix the products, if your struggling to find the right colour and coverage it might be a happy medium.

I really want the Asian BB creams to work for me, although I still love the Maybelline one it doesn't feel as nourishing as the Skin79 and I cant tell you how much dds skin has brightened and cleared in such a short space of time since using the Skin79 hot pink every day, really very impressive. So, I did some more research and I ordered Skin79, hot orange, this has (compared to the pink) a more yellow tone, more coverage and a matte finish and a huge SPF50:T, I'm so looking forward to trying this, I just had confirmation it was shipped today so hopefully will be here tomorrow or the next day, now I have my foundation trick I'm really hopeful I can make this product work for me.

i think I will buy Skin 79 vital orange next. Lots of the BB creams make my eyes sting (yes i know, I don't put it in my eyes, but I think maybe it is the scent I am sensitive to) but even with this I still prefer skin 79 to the others I have tried just as it makes my skin look so healthy. I may also try the Bhaviphat one (one is for oily skin one for dry I think) as this has been recommended for oil slick skin like mine. watch this space....

I'm wanting to try one of the Dr Jart BB creams - I think they're pretty much the only 'proper' BB cream available in this country. They look gorgeous but they're a bit pricey so will have to see if I can get a sample first or start saving up :-)

  • Try a sample if you can just in case it's not suitable for your skin. After saying that I need to try more samples as I've only tried the Skin 79 Hot Pink.

Did get a few samples of the new Maybelline bb cream, so will give that a go aswell :)

A couple of days ago I hadn't a clue what BB creams were! I've since read the whole thread and decided to go for a Korean BB cream rather than a western one. I'm hoping that as well as being a superior product it will actually match my skin some what. I'm really pale and I *like* looking pale, but UK make up brands tend to assume you want to be orange. I usually buy Maybelline dream mousse in Ivory which is a decent enough match for my skin but I still think I could do with a lighter shade.

I've gone for Hollika Hollika Clearing Petite BB cream as I have sensitive combination skin and am prone to spots. It came to about £5 from sing-sing-girl on eBay, who I think has been recommended on the thread. She had good reviews anyway :)

I'll post again once I've received it and tried it out. I do hope it works- the packaging is ridiculously cute so I certainly won't be chucking it if it's not right for me!

I have been subscribed to this thread for ages and am very interested in testing out a korean BB cream but not sure which one to go for. I am a bit nervous about venturing into buying a BB cream which i dont know much about. I am also on a tight budget so dont want to pay too much for make up if its rubbish.

[STRIKE]Would be grateful if someone could recommend any that may be worth looking at -[/STRIKE]

scrap that - just spotted a seller on ebay selling samples. Going to buy a few samples and see what i like the best
