Psychic readings....your thoughts?

I do believe some people an be psychic , they have a talent . You can have a talent to painting, to maths, to sport, whatever, and yes, you can have a talent to be psychic.
Long time ago, people didn't believe that some tiny little things can make you poorly. It was a times people didn't know about microscopes. Maybe , now, we don't know the ways to check someone's ability to see future?

Physics is def real and the laws of physics have quite possibly helped solve crimes.:D

I honestly don't know the answer and that is the truth. I have a friend who claims to be psychic and she has done reads for me (although never when I ask her), she doesn't charge and said that she is not allowed to charge for her gift.

So far she has given me about 9 predictions with 6 coming true, 2 of the 6 were quite big and I didn't see them coming and in fact I told her she was well off. As for the other 3 I guess it's wait and see.

I watched a Derren Brown program a few years ago, I think it was in the USA. He gave written readings to a group of people and sent them off to separate rooms to look at what he had predicted for them.

When they were interviewed later the majority of them were astonished at how accurate he was. Some of them almost had tears in their eyes at how he had been able to see into their souls. There were only a couple who thought he was completely off the mark.

They reunited the group after the reading of the predictions and got them to swap their personal readings with each other. I am sure you can guess the next bit........

They were all given the exactly the same reading.

That doesn't make sense how would they have known immediately if the predictions were accurate or not?

What's all this nonsense about opening chakras that their ilk talk about?

They weren't predictions for the future, they were personal readings about what sort of person they were, how they reacted to/dealt with things, the nature of their relationships, etc.

Okay well that's very general and certainly not worth seeing a psychic about.

I have a done a tremendous amount of research on the subject of whether our consciousness survives bodily death and I am quite convinced that it does. However, I am also very sceptical about many so-called psychics - most of them are in it for the easy money they can get from gullible people. Very few psychics are genuinely gifted, and these are in extremely high demand and rarely go out in the open.
