I see from others who have made a subscription for 2012/13 in the small window of opportunity for this, but I can't see where in their T&Cs this is stated. Can anyone help please? My account is opened and transferred into already.

Transfered my 2012/2013 allowance in from a Santander Online Saver using the ISA account number and sort code. It was visible straight away.

I'm started to get worried now, I've just opened a Santandander ISA, from the dropdown I chose to fund the account with funds from another Santander account but the funds are still in my current account. Is this just because it's a bank holiday today??

No, you need to move the money yourself.

So I need to wait until the ISA is showing on my online banking?

Am still dithering over adding in this years allowance to the 2 year one or opening the Nationwide 4.25% ISA tomorrow. There is about £15 difference between the two over a year.

    Me too.

Dithering time not very long though :p

I just rang my own bank and provided them with the sort code and account code of the new Santander ISA's for me and my wife.Pretty straight forward

On a seperate issue when I logged in to Santander. I found that I had an old "sleeping" savers account that I forgot about many years ago. That was a bonus.£45...My advice is check all your old accounts

I have decided to go to my local Nationwide branch tomorrow and see if I can open the ISA and fund it at the same time.

If there looks like there is going to be a delay then I will just fund the Santander one in the afternoon.

Seems silly not to try for the Nationwide one as the bonus is until October 2013 and tracks the BoE rate.

Sounds like a good plan. Better take sandwiches and a flask though!

Do you already qualify for the Nationwide ISA? I started the process of switching a couple of DDs yesterday to our seldom used Flexaccount :)

The other advantage for me is that I can pay some into Nationwide now and balance at end of month from maturing 1 year fixed rate account. If I have to fund Santander 2 year fixed rate, I'll have to withdraw it from Monmouthshire paying 4%, which I'd rather not do :(

    Decisions decisions :rotfl:

Yes, I am already a Nationwide customer and have the current account as my main account so it should be relativity straight forward.

Aiming to be there at 9am when the doors open and hope for the best...

We transferred our previous years ISA's on Wed to the Santander 2 yr 4% and are going to open this year's with Nationwide as I have the Santander e-save account which pays a good rate and I don't want to chance going over the FSCS limit. Nice problem to have I know but as I bank with Nationwide and the rate is higher anyway, I don't see this as a problem.

Just going to check Nwide website now to see if there is any more news of the account.
