Santander are now allowing applications for 2012/13 allowance.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

I'm looking to subscribe to Santander's 2 year fix, (if it's still available when my current ISAs mature)
My Halifax Rewards ISA matures on 13th April
My Aldermore FRISA matures on 26th April.
Will I be OK depositing my full 12/13 allowance into the Halifax Rewards ISA on 6th April, and then transferring both the FRISA and Rewards ISA to Santander once they've matured?
In consideration of the transfer application being required within 14days of application; Would it be best to apply for the account just before 13th April, and start the transfers for both accounts immediately? or better to wait until both ISAs have matured?
The above queries are with a view to avoid missing the bonus on the Halifax account and to avoid the penalties on Aldermore for withdrawing before maturity. My farts hospitalize small children0 -

I noticed yesterday there are two strange transactions on 21st March:
First is indicated as 'ADJUSTMENT .VALUE DATE .CHEQUE PAID IN A BANKING CENTRE' Money out (all of it) leaving £0.00 balance.
Second (same date) 'CHEQUE PAID IN A BANKING CENTRE' Money in (all of it) leaving the same balance as at 19th.
I called Santander and had a really confusing conversation - something about an error - about cheque on 16th but showed as paid in on 19th but it wasn't mine until 21st so they made 'these adjustments' to make it right. Even after them going over it again it still made no sense. Their screen showed the 16th whereas mine doesn't. They are going to post me a statement which will show it. I thinkwhat it may mean is that adjustment is to backdate the interest to the 16th. I had to more or less suggest that to them though before they said that. Still not sure.
They said when I get the interest statement next year I can ask for detail of the calculation. I'll probably have forgotten by then :rotfl:0 -
Quick question on adding the 2012/13 allowance to this - do we just transfer it using the sort code/account number or is there a special process?0

You can just use the sort code and account number.
I paid in my 2012/13 allowance in this morning. It went by Faster Payments and within 2 minutes was showing in my Santander ISA0 -

Am still dithering over adding in this years allowance to the 2 year one or opening the Nationwide 4.25% ISA tomorrow. There is about £15 difference between the two over a year.0

Transfered my 2012/2013 allowance in from a Santander Online Saver using the ISA account number and sort code. It was visible straight away.0
