I had the same - see below:

I am still worried though. Does everyone have the same transactions on their statement after transferring in?

    It's normal. Stop worrying.

I opened 2 year fixed ISA. Can I put the allowance for 2012/13 and 2013/14 together on 6th of April or only 2012/13 and then the rest in April 2013/14? Thank you.

Is it worth setting up an esaver account with Santander, so internal transfer of the full 2012/13 subscription could be made to the ISA on April 6th?

I've opened an ISA with Santander but opening an e-saver just to pay your ISA subscription in on 6 April sounds unnecessary as you can just make a 'Faster Payment' from another account/bank on the 6 April, so no need to open a e-saver account.

Of course, if you were going to use the e-saver for other savings as well, than that's different..

    Regards
    Sunil.

How can you guarantee this happening? Last one I transferred from A&L to the Halifax took about 6-8 weeks.
    Transferring from other cash ISAs
    • Cash ISA transfer in applications must be received within 14 days of opening

Reading the 2yr Fixed Santander blurb, it appears to expire today for those who are wanting to pay in the 2011/2012 allowance.

If you have already used up the 2011/2012 allowance can you not apply for this? - thats what it says when u apply online

Will the 4% still be available from tomorrow onwards for those who have used up the 2011/2012 allowance and are just looking for the best rate for the 2012/2013?

According to the MSE ISA page:
Online and phone applications for 2011/2012 close on Sunday 1 April at 10pm. Branch applications are open until branch closing time on Thursday 5 April
so you can still apply for the 4% for 2011/12 but in branch from tomorrow.

You can still apply for this ISA for 2011/12 in this case but would need to transfer your exisiting 2011/12 ISA to them rather than depositing more funds in this. (there is an option for 'No new savings' when applying - choose this)

You can only deposit 2012/13 allowances from 6 April.

Hi Sorry to sound thick but am I right in thinking if I want to transfer my 2011/12 and earlier ISA funds I need to select no new funds and will I still be able to add the new allowance for this year 2012/13 after the 6th?
