Virgin Media price hike letter today - who else got one?

I am on Phone + Broadband M and got an approx 12% price hike letter today.

Are they targeting the lower spenders?

No, everyone got increased.

and I bet you it doesn't give you a breakdown of the amount?

I called them, they cannot tell me how they got to the amount on the letter, its like thye can make it up and they dont have to justify it.

Mines gone up £3.50 PM, it then tells me i can save by having paperless billing and DD, which ive already got.

They took the figure of the chairman's bonus, and divided it by the number of customers!

(wish I could submit the same percentage increase statement to my employer!)

They can tell you individual price increases in your package/bundle.

Broadband (10MB/M) increasing by £1.50/month
Paper Bill increasing by £0.25/month
Loyalty Discount decreasing by £1.75/month

People should complain about these extortionate price increases.

My cost is going up by over £3.50/month.

Thats cheap mine is going up by over £4 a month and I have been without catchup tv for 24 hours!!!!

And my broadband often disappears for a few hours at a time

If you are dissatisfied, make sure you query increases & complain.

How much is your increase & what is in your package ?

Broadband (M) is increasing by £1.50/month.

Line Rental & Talk Unlimited are not increasing in price.

we got the increase letter £3.50 hmmm considering my options and will follow this thread for advice.
