Virgin Media price hike letter today - who else got one?

We have had the letter and to add insult to injury we got throttled tonight back to 2.5mbs. We don't do any downloading, it seems it was due to my husband logging on to stream an online baseball game for a couple of hours.0

I think you need to be aware of what you're saying before you start basically insinuating you are being ripped off.
You did download, streaming is downloading, its just not permanently stored on your device.0 -
We sometimes watch several hours per day of video streaming on Virgin Media (cable), if they do throttle it's not noticeable.0

Recieved a response from email complaint i made over a week ago regard price rise break down.
The £4 increase is £2 for XL broadband and £2 for small ...my very very small 2mb broadband:(0 -
That's your problem, depending on how old it actually is, they were, IIRC, only good for about 4mbps.
Got the new superhub now and my speeds are still really Slow. I'm on m+ and should have 10mb and have not downloaded or streamed anything today . This is my speed now
