Virgin Media price hike letter today - who else got one?

we got the increase letter £3.50 hmmm considering my options and will follow this thread for advice.
Virgin Media have hidden individual prices making it more difficult to quickly compare with other people.
Last August they changed to a new format bill with a "bundle" price & stopped showing individual prices of items in bundle.
They have done this deliberately so people can't keep track of what's going on.

I'm really confused about this, I've received no correspondence as yet. Is there any info about it on their website?0

They are probably being sent in batches , I'm sure you're be getting one soon!
Mines gone up by £2.25 ...
Broadband XXL .. (50Mb)
Phone line M .. (standard cheapie)
plus TV M ... (free with the phone line!
Not too shabby I suppose , but I'm considering dropping the phone (and free TV) and going mobile only .. (just gone over to GiffGaff for that) and dropping the broadband to the XL (30 Mb) service.
That should save me about £7/8 a month , and later on the 30Mb will get doubled up to 60MB ... so I've not lost out at all!0 -
I have also had a letter increasing my broadband costs, and will be switching to sky.
You will have to give 30 days notice if your contract is up, but they are putting the prices up on 1 April, so dont hang around. Go through Quidco and you will get about £100 cashback.0 -
Before I received a letter notifying of £1.5 increase on M package, they accidentaly sent an email to my inbox notifying that 100mb package is being upgraded to 120mb and the package price will be reduced to match xxl. In responce to my complaint about this outrageous move I was given no clear answer and only one very clear option to leave Virgin if I remain dissatisfied. The lowest of the low...0

What is in your package ?

I called to complain when they did this - they said that they'd trialled the new billing display and 87% of their customers said they preferred it.
I don't believe it for one minute."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -

Why is an accident an outrageous move?0 -
They can tell you individual price increases in your package/bundle.
Broadband (10MB/M) increasing by £1.50/month
Paper Bill increasing by £0.25/month
Loyalty Discount decreasing by £1.75/month
Thats just it, Mine is going up £4.50 and they CANNOT tell me all the increases which make up that figure - they are 25p short and have NO IDEA how/why/where...0 -
i have a £4 increase!
I just 2/3 months ago re-negotiated my contract & had budgeted for a set amount,
now virgin has done this!
i guess they have to pay for usain bolt:undecided
