I've made up for lost time now though!..............;) :o ..onl joking!:rotfl:
I see kids of 17 years old walking around with toddlers and think

Doesn't bother me if I don't find my prince :D The single life is goooood, specially when it involves not kissing frogs ;) I like my life nice and simple, and men have a tendency to complicate matters.

This is going to be a very self-wallowing post so anyone who's feeling good should probably just skip it...

I don't know what the heck is wrong with me. I just feel so down and sorry for myself. I have loads of uni work to do and am scraping by on the bare minimum and it's really getting to me.

I went out for a meal with a group of friends last night, usually I love going out with them but I just didn't feel myself and pretty much just sat in a corner by myself all night.

I feel like I can't be bothered doing anything and therefore have done nothing. OH doesn't seem to understand and just thinks I am being lazy, but I really can't see the point in trying to do anything because I haven't got the time to finish it, so I don't see the point IYKWIM...

I don't even know why I'm posting this as I don't know what's up with me - maybe it's the weather or something? My mum has booked to take me and my sisters to Barcelona in April so maybe that will cheer me up? At the minute I don't even feel like I want to go. I just want to curl up in bed and let the world get on with itself...

    Sorry for being so down...

I've only posted on here for the last couple of weeks and I always feel I have nothing to say, and don't really say it.....but I like to show that I'm here and normally press the "thanks" button to show I'm about and not just spying!

    Me too also.
I live alone and am in awe of the pressures most of you are coping with so I read and thank, but don't post.
    However!
Spent a very frustrating hour and a half yesterday.
I used to go to blood donor sessions but got turned down so often (low hemoglobin) that I gave up. Got a postcard from them so went again. Session started 4pm.
Over two years so extra interview - waiting room - then finger test - failed - back to waiting room - second test (by this time it's 5.15) failed again.
That is when I discovered that they have raised the cut-off line. I failed on the old measure more often than not so no chance on the new one.
So why recall me and why not tell me at the first interview. I not only wasted my own time but more to the point theirs as well
OK not much in the great scheme of things but needed to moan.

Welcome...you will soon get used to how all this works
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

  • Big hugs ((((((((Roz_V))))))))

That sounds exactly how I have felt several times in the last couple of weeks. I do think the weather has something to do with it, though I thought in my case it may also be hormonal - is this a possibility?

Shez, thanks for the offer of help with the plumbing - I've PM'd you with some more details.
