Daily OS 21st February

As a lot of people seem to like this idea let's get it ready for tomorrow morning.

If you're starting a Daily Thread can you copy and paste this into the top post?

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 20/ 02/2007. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Good morning all,

Well godness me - where are you all - I'm never usually on the first page let alone starting us off - hope i did this right
Am up nice and early to get ready to go to the hospital with dd - got a houseful so I'm having to do everything quietly. Have a good day everyone - will check in later :D
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

Morning. I am wondering if this daily thread is losing interest?? Personally I cannot always be bothered with it, and I wonder if others are the same????
I have work again today, a nice 4 days off. Bit boring really, I am fed up with winter now, I want spring! I need to get the garden sorted, get fishing, sort my boat out and other stuff you can't do when it's cold wet and raining and dark....
Half term and the kids are everywhere today. OH birthday tomorrow and I have not got her anything yet.... No clue either. May be some flowers and an IOU for some clothes...

How about a new bag and matching belt?? She can then keep the hoover going for another year?
    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
    I am in trouble now........

I still like the daily thread, and try to catch up most days.

Thanks for all your comments on KS3 SATs yesterday :T :A I now (think  ) I know what's happening. I now understand that DD is on track.

Big news of yesterday - a girl in DD's class turned 14 in half term, and celebrated by becoming engaged to her 17yo BF      That wouldn't be so bad, but until the girl left primary school her parents didn't allow her to go anywhere on her own (walk to school, walk to our house - 2 mins and no roads) When she started high school she now does does exactly as she likes, and has his hand on her a** most of the time.

DD thinks she's mad, and wants to have a life before she *wastes it on boys*

Best wishes and hugs to Miss Stef!

Have a great day, Penny. x

    Morning gang.

Hugs to Stefejb and her daughter, I hope all goes well.

Ageandjo, from your your posts last week, it's hardly surprising that things are fraught right now, I hope you both manage to come through it in one piece.

Got my Sliiming Club today, I don't think I've done very well this week. I really must get my head around it this coming week and I think meal planning is the key. Fortunately DD is back at school this week, so no excuses.

Plans for today, do the tiles in our bathroom and tackle DD's bathroom.
Might also mix in a spot of ironing just for fun :rotfl:

    Hugs to all who follow.

Good morning all, I hope you are all well.

Stefejb - hope all goes well for DD today,

Last night i went to an aromatherapy party and it was extremely interesting. I bought some sensual bath soak for myself, some lavender and chamomile massage cream for Ds (in the hope he might sleep better and be less hyperactive) some lavender for my oil burner, and some wheatgerm cream. One interesting thing that i learnt was that rosemary is a no no for someone with hypertension. All in all, a good evening.:T

Today i have to finish off the washing that i have been faffing about with for the last two days. Also need to unload and reload the dishwasher.DD`s bedroom needs a tidy up as well.No idea what i am doing for dinner.
With regard to this thread and people losing interest- I like posting daily but it has been a bit quiet lately.
Anyway, hugs to all, have a good wednesday. Love Elaine.

    Morning folks

No work today - stepson ill so staying at home and playing Florence Nightingale :D

He has the sore throat/high temperature/feeling poop lurgy that seems to be doing the rounds.

No point in wasting having a day in the house. Will get on with a few jobs - washing, daily tidy up, sort through paperwork and anything else that I find needs doing. Also have two episodes of Nip/Tuck that needs watching so might manage to squeeze them in ;)

    Bye for now
