    Morning everyone.#
Be warned this is going to be a long post!
n9eave I am fairly new to the OS board but I really enjoy coming on here, it relieves the boredom at work, and as I don't have many friends :o (the oneds I do have are nurses and constantly working!) and my OH is at work whenever I go home I only have the company of 2 toddlers! (and dogs!) so I like being able to chat to "real" people here, and I feel safe here, as when I have posted on other threads I have been called a "muppet" "stupid" " b*tch" e.t.c! :o
The only days I don't post are my days off when I don't have internet access (can't afford it at home!:o )

penny pincher I would write a letter of complaint to the cleaning company, explaining what you have just said on here and threaten to go to the papers-see what you get back and if it is not satisfactory then go to the local papers. (If you get the sunday sun-mr justice is good).
I hope they are going to refund you at least part of what you paid?

stefe good luck and hugs to you and dd I hiope it all goes well.

penelope penguin OMG! I can't believ that...now I am going to tell you somethin that only my 3 closest friends know-not even my OH knows this! I didn't even have my 1st kiss till I was 17!!!!!:o :o:o
I hope that they are not being ummmm...."silly"!!!

    Well last night went well...ok!
The waitress could not understand a word we said though! my BIL was replying to a waiter "I'm FINE THANKYOU" and the waitress decided he was ordering extra food!, I asked for a shandy and ended up with a bottle of "chang" beer! lol:rotfl: but the food was very nice (and so was the chang beer!:p :o )
2 girls scarpered without paying, so my brother gave chase! :rotfl:
then at the end of the meal when we got our bill we were £70 short!
we were given 1 bowl of fried betwwen 4 people (there were 17 of us) and on the bill they charged every one of us £2 for rice-nobody had added this to their bill (as nobody knew) and they had all gone by this point, so my mam paid an extra £40, and 2 young men gave £20 each!
After today I am off for 2 days and hoping to get LOADS of housework done!
We ar totally skint until saturday! so will have to raid the cupboard for meals until then!
have a very rare day with Oh 2moro so hoping to take the kids somewhere (like the park) and really enjoy our time as a family. (as well as doing housework!):D
hugs to those that need them, have a good day everyone.

Catznine - I'm going to the dentist too! Hope yours doesn't hurt too much or cost too much either. I've managed to get an appointment with an NHS Dentist so it should still be free as baby girl is a couple of weeks away from her birthday.

Stefejb - I hope all goes well for your DD.

Bad day post (snail mail) wise today. Gas and Electricity bills in. This is the first bill I have received and we have lived here 8 months. Both of them were over £600
Monthly payments will jump from £50 per month to £150 - each. I need to seriously tighten my belt. I'm kicking myself for not listing on Ebay yesterday.

Should be easy I've lost half a stone with the flu so my jeans are baggy anyway!

Off to church this evening for Ash Wednesday. I am C of E and have never fasted. Some in my church do (it's high church). All my pregnancies have covered lent so fasting was never really an option.

    Enjoy your days everyone!

    Morning all

I've only posted on here for the last couple of weeks and I always feel I have nothing to say, and don't really say it.....but I like to show that I'm here and normally press the "thanks" button to show I'm about and not just spying!

My days just consist of housework etc. I work in the evenings (cleaning, so more housework). It's good (for me) that so many others feel the same because I get to feel a bit paranoid sometimes.

Quite bright here today but every time I think that perhaps I should hang some washing out the clouds roll over and I sit down again :D

    Morning all

To all of you who think you've nothing of interest to say - Do what I do and say it anyway :rotfl: I figure that by contributing on here each day I've actually had some contact with the outside world, plus it's better than talking to the cat.

I think we all feel overlooked at times, but that's life.

I really enjoy reading what you've all been upto during the day and often something I read will inspire me to get off my backside and get stuck into doing something.

Nelski - DH said he'd feel a bit silly walking from office to office block this morning with a plate of pancakes - men! Huh!

Stef - Hope your daughters op goes ok.

Rzl - I agree with Nelski on that one - giving up booze and chocolate - good grief woman - are you ill?? :D

Hugs to all those in need of one.

I've been productive/constructive/destructive this morning - bathrooms had a deep clean, as has the living room (I even hoovered under the sofa cushions - get me!!) I've washed the floors and got most of this weeks ebay stuff packaged up ready for end of auction on Sunday. Beds are all stripped and it's all either in WM or TD (raining here).

DD1 is still feeling poorly so she's tucked up on the sofa watching tv...several of her friends have come down with a sickness bug at school - pleased she's out of germs way - can't cope with that as well.

Dinner tonight will be chilli for DH and I - dd's are having fish and new pots - wasn't on the meal plan but it's what we all fancy :D

Hope you all have a super day.

Well I've hung some towels out now, so apologies to anyone if it starts raining. It's all my fault :D
